While some chose to showcase an outfit which was precisely thematic, others donned what came in their hand. Osmany Laffita showcased a hefty dose of extravagance and what about Roman Vojtek? It was said that he was sitting behind the sewing machine and stitched the luxurious gown of his partner, Petra Vraspírová from a scarf, with the help of designer Kamila Vodochodská. We won´t search for the truth, but have a closer look at the outfits of the famous celebrities!
Wooden flip flops with high heels, with socks, an extravagant hairdo, a cream-coloured kimono and denim trousers from his own workshop. The eyes of all fell on the extravagant outfit of Osmany Laffita, by which he affirmed that there are no boundaries in vogue. We consider the model to be not only a curiosity, but above all a perfect livening up of the evening!
The red, off-the-shoulder mini dress with long sleeves suited Natali Ruden incredibly well. The designer made a great choice in its colour, which goes perfectly with her new image. And will we see Natali Ruden as a brunette after the show in Asia, too? That remains to be a secret. We like the idea anyway!
Great lady Eliška Hašková Coolidge arrived at the luxurious fashion show in an elegant dress by Carolina Herrera. And she revealed that it has been in her wardrobe for nearly 30 years, which seems incredible to us. Eliška Hašková Coolidge - has again outdone women a generation younger!
Beautiful Jana Doleželová placed her bet again, as has become traditional, on the Marko In brand. And while at a party of UniCredit Bank at the KV IFF she managed not to quite hit the mark, she really scored at the luxury fashion show of Natali Ruden. A simple red dress suited Jana very well and the subdued make-up and hairstyle perfectly complemented the outfit. Simply a pure Asian style - delightful!
The dress, which was worn by Petra Vraspírová, belonged to one of the most interesting things that were to be seen at the fashion show. With her dress from the workshop of Kamila Vodochodská she could have stepped straight onto the catwalk without any hesitation; that is how perfectly she blended in with the atmosphere of the fashion event. Moreover, with Roman Vojtek they were in perfect harmony, because of the red bow tie and a handkerchief.
Kateřina Mátlová placed her bet on a sensuous black and glowed in a luxury gown by Philosophy. The dress won our hearts by its of-the-shoulder cut, pearl embellishment and a sheer skirt, which Kateřina can afford without hesitation thanks to her amazing figure.
While Kateřina exposed her legs for admiration, Carolina chose the opposite stratagem. In the luxury dress by designer Pavel Berky she displayed her décolletage and arms and showed what elegance in conjunction with refinement should look like. We applaud!
The Natali Ruden fashion show was also attended by Eliška Dospivová who put on a velvet suit in burgundy tone. Although it was a piece which according to her words just came into her hand, the result was amazing, and the model perfectly fitted her.
Also, Nikol Trojanová tried to inject some colour, but we cannot cheer over the result there. We miss some original idea here and the combination of the mini dress with a massive fur looks in our eyes as too elaborately planned.
The Forum Karlin was transformed into a mecca of fairy tales about Asia. It really is not customary for the overall atmosphere of the fashion show to be so powerful, but Natali Ruden has simply managed it. Moreover, she made almost all the invited guests to adhere to Asian dress code. Who has succeeded, and who on the contrary went down the ladder? Our Fashion Against the Current went ahead to shed some light on it.
Right from the start I would like to begin with the biggest star of the evening which of course was Natali herself. To the surprise of al, she arrived like a sexy raven-haired beauty. By her look she quite reminded me of Lucy Liu from the film Charlie´s Angels. The dress of her own making fitted her perfectly and its spicy red colour added spark to the overall impression. In my opinion a feeling of great satisfaction and mainly admiration of the new hairstyle.

One of the VIP guests who was certainly impossible to overlook was Osmany Lafita. He discarded his afro-style hairpiece and arrived at the fashion show with a mega-long ponytail. This hairstyle reminded me of a samurai, nevertheless when looking at his Geisha sandals it dawned on me that he would be cut by the sword only once. Be that as it may, from all the guests he looked most dressed as Asian. Despite the fact that the mixed women´s and men´s styles. Another thing which was wrong, was definitely the choice of trousers. Close-fitting jeans with Asian folklore style? That does not go together!
Dress: 70 % Hair: Perhaps not even possible to rate (ha ha ha).
Mrs. Dospivová arrived as one of the few in a perfectly matching attire. Her bordeaux velvety trouser suit with a black corset, a Gucci hip pocket and colour-matching strappy high heels was simply a feast for your eyes. Exactly what I wanted to see. In addition, the choice of subdued makeup and sleek loose hair ... Seriously nothing left to be criticised here.

For me, Mrs Eliška is the icon in the field of elegance of Czech Women of world-wide reputation. Furthermore, her intellect and overall charisma is of such a level that I believe that even if she wore a sack, she would still look like a lady. But back to the red-and-black dress by Carolina Herrera. In my view a perfect combination of a dress with all the accessories that are precisely just the thing for a visit of a fashion show. And if nothing can even make-up and styling itself. PERFECT!
Dress: 90 % Make-up and hair: 100 %
Jana arrived at the show as white as chalk, with greasy hair tied back into a ponytail, and in an overall by Marko In. It looked like having been stitched up from some cheap satin, which I hate from the bottom of my heart. The model was accessorised by a black clutch bag and black open-toed high heels. They look like Dior, but a seven-years-old collection. I don´t enjoy the overall look. I would once again recommend Jana to get in touch with a stylist, to ONCE AND FOR ALL terminate this suffering…

Roman Vojtek arrived as is standard in a classic made-to-measure suit, thematically matched by a red bow tie and a handkerchief in the jacket pocket. No errors there, but I am not head over the heels about it by excitement. Perhaps because I do not like red accents of men´s suits. Then there was Roman's girlfriend. She arrived in a dress from "Kamil" and obviously the girl tried hard to observe the Asian dress code. However, the overall effect of the dress, its cut and its combination with the clutch bag does not gel. Overall the outfit looks cheap. Otherwise regarding the hair and make-up - voilà!
Petra´s dress: 40 % Make-up and hair: 80 % Roman´s suit: 75 %
Kateřina belongs among singers who are constantly teetering on the edge of distaste. Exactly that is what happened at the Asia show to Natali Ruden. Although Kateřina has a perfect figure, is a beautiful woman and essentially her semi-transparent dress copies trends of famous brands, the type of fabrics, the cut and the overall concept of the model is again cheap. I am sorry, but it is better to put on a more elegant dress, such as a cocktail dress, in which she would certainly make a better impression than in this patchwork, which is one great chaos, really. A great pity!
Dress: 35 % Make-up and hair: 79 %
Karolína arrived in a sort of moody dress by Pavel Berky. More than Asia it reminds me of the standard getup from the middle of the 19th century. Although it behoves Karolína, what about the concept of the sleeves and the collar? Horrid! This looks to the Great Depression living…

One of the nicest bloggers here arrived completely in red, like a Red Riding Hood. This look was accessorised by a synthetic fur. If I leave out this horror (imitation fur is HELL), there is nothing much wrong with anything here. But it is still one great boredom that won´t astonish anyone; and certainly no one will remember this girl, simply because there is no reason to. Average, in my opinion.
