The most artistic prizes of the year, Thalia Awards have been distributed. But how did those present fare in their gala evening, sweeping gowns and suits? Perhaps you will wonder about my point system...
Veronika Kubářová
The young actress whom I registered thanks mainly to the film Women in Temptation, arrived at the National Theatre in a champagne-coloured gown decorated with flowers, from the workshop of Petra Kluzáková. I must say that this model looked among all those cumbersome all-round dark dresses like a breath of fresh air. At the same time I enjoy that sort of folklore, which perhaps was even planned. The only thing that I mind, really, is the giant gold clutch bag. It is too ´crude´ to go with such a romantic dress. The next time I would like to recommend a smaller purse, which would match the look.

Tereza Kostková
Actress Tereza Kostková bet as always on the classic without any embellishments, but of perfect fit. In my opinion, the dress of Tatiana Kovaříková was a good choice. I very much appreciate the richness of the material that so perfectly holds the décolletage and at the same time does not look cheap. Unfortunately I am not so enthused about the flapping belt around the waist. Tereza has a lovely figure, but nevertheless such a detail seemed to unnecessarily make her look larger. Choose a smooth silhouette the next time.

Eva Hrušková and Jan Přeučil
This couple has been together for so long that they are starting to look alike. I don´t know how these two do it, but over the last 150 years they have looked the same, including the clothing. This is a clear example of how there are still people among us who keep their clothes for decades. In my opinion there is too much black in the evening dress by Joseph Ribkoff as well as the suit by Mejta tailor´s! And when I see the absolutely unmatched blue cummerbund, I wanted to scream. This is really bad my dear!

Pavel Vítek
Ever-optimistic singer, Pavel Vítek, placed himself into the hands of professionals at SuitsUp rental just to be sure. Nevertheless, the fact that evening wear is hired (especially in case of men) does not seem very sexy to me. I appreciate the effort to look trendy and youthful; however the overall impression is as if I had in front of me an insurance broker with a "super" offer of my lifetime. But Thalia Awards...?

Miluše Bittnerová
One of our most curvaceous actresses placed her bet on a black classic by Ralph Lauren. I do not know from which decade does the dress come from, but on Miluše it unfortunately looks like a giant tent with cream-coloured plush embellishment. An attempt to look like Marilyn Monroe did not seem to have worked out …

Zuzana Kajnarová
Actress Zuzana Kajnarová in the foyer of the National Theatre looked like a prospective cloak attendant heading for an interview. I really do not understand how anyone can possibly wear something so dull and formal to a festive evening event such as precisely this neutral VAN GRAAF dress. After all, we are not making a financial audit here, we are going to celebrate art!

Jiří Korn
Thanks to my husband I know Jiří personally and I terribly enjoy both his style on a golf course as well as in company. Indeed, he is one of the few people who can dress completely originally and trendy and at the same time combine this with the classic. I like his avant-garde suit by Chatty and I commend him for that. Of course I also congratulate on the price - kisses!

Natálie Grossová
The youngest of nominees, Natalie Grossová, arrived at the National Theatre in some kind of mini disco dress from the workshop of Osman Laffita. Not only I do not understand why Natalia failed to comply with the dress code, but moreover why is she wearing the horrible flesh-coloured stockings?! Once and for all; ladies: throw away all flesh-coloured stockings please!!! One cannot bear looking at it and they are really not in!!!! The end.
