In a few days in Ostrava, the magnificent music festival Colours of Ostrava is to start, where the fashion brand H&M is to have its own BLOCK in the style of 3R - REUSE / REDUCE / RECYCLE.
It is in this way interconnected with the vision of H&M to produce collections from sustainable materials. This was also in conjunction with the recycling workshop, which was held last week in the luxury Prague showroom of H&M at Wenceslas Square.
That is exactly what was the purpose of the creative recycling workshop of the H&M fashion label, whose concept was of grand style.
Everywhere you looked inside the showroom there hung clothes, with shoes on the floor, handbags.... and of course the various tools and items to improve your fashion pieces: beads, ribbons, coloured threads, yarn, fabrics and other beautiful embellishments that any incoming visitor could use for his imaginative creation. During the entire period an experienced designer was available, providing her advice if required. For example she demonstrated how one can produce interesting and original accessories such as bracelets and belts from old T-shirts.
The event was also participated upon by well-known celebrities, such as Zorka Hejdová, Renata Langmannová, Keira Hrachovcová, Klára Vytisková and other women who closely cooperate with the brand, enjoy the fashion and philosophy.
Why should one keep buying new clothes when we have at home pieces that look good and we alone can breathe in a new look?
The multi-genre international music festival, held every year since 2002, was held during the last six years in the surroundings of Dolní Vítkovice in Ostrava. If you are headed to the festival, remember to also visit the H&M Block, where you can enjoy a lot of fun. Experience creative production and use special metal straws for your drinks which will be sold here. Help to protect the environment together with H&M!
