If we were to choose the star of this year's AMAs awards, it would definitely be the model and muse of the late designer Karel Lagerfeld Cara Delevingne, who really did a great job with her luxurious Dolce & Gabbana suit and Dior jewelry! Her perfect waves and black stilettos were only the icing on the cake.
The heiress of shares in the hotel empire Hilton, who refuses to give up mini skirts and deep necklines even though she's pushing forty, also had a pleasent surprise in store for us. And why shouldn't she reveal as much of her body as she wants to, when she can afford wearing such pieces?! We really like the dress from the Kosovo designer Valdrin Sahiti, as well as the luxury jewelry from Lara Heems.

The charismatic Megan Fox, who chose a sexy emerald color, also awed the viewers with an amazing spectacle. The Azzi & Osta asymmetrical dress is a very chic option, and so are the belt sandals with a metal strap around the ankle. We prefer not to comment on the outfit of her better half. We have the impression that Machine Gun Kelly must have bought his Dsquared² metal shoes for a trip to Mars. Megan should definitely keep an eye for him!

If anyone really disappointed us, it was Jennifer Lopez. The exotic singer and actress, who usually shows up only in fine-tuned outfits, made a fashion blunder this time. We're not sure if she didn't have time to look in the mirror before leaving for the red carpet, or if she really wanted to finish her bottle of hair gel, but this simply didn't work out at all. The silver piece from the Balmain workshop also didn't appeal to us much. Maybe next time!

Singer Dua Lipa is famous for her eccentricity, so we weren't too surprised when she arrived at AMAs in a mini Versace dress, which reveals more than covers. Although Dua Lipa has the character of a pod, the outfit has a primary effect. In addition, we can't shake the impression that the singer jumped straight out of bed at the awards ceremony. That's why he takes one big NO from us.

American Music Awards: A chance to go out and show off
Those Americans are really cute. Common people are dropping like flies due to corona, but US celebrities won't let anything or anyone stop them. As soon as they get a whiff of a red carpet, an award or two and the chance to be photographed, they run to their stylists, hairdressers and make-up artists. Without wearing a face mask. Despite the fact that some of them would do better if they chose to stay at home, because lockdown life gave them unsightly cellulatis in visible places...
On the other hand, America is a free and democratic country, if we forget about the trainwreck of a presidential that's currently threatening their direct democracy, and they won't let anyone tell them what to do, right? Discipline is a dirty word for them. Oh well, at least us poor Czech folk, who have to wear face masks day and night and can only dream about concerts and theaters, can have a look at what life looks like across the big pond...
Sexy fifty-something
I have to say this, I simply have to. Jennifer Lopez is my idol and I would probably forgive her for anything. At her age, she's still a sexy babe who works out like crazy and it shows. So I don't give a damn about what she's wearing, if it's silver or a potato sack, and if her hair looks like she tripped and fell into the pool on the way to the gala. She's simply perfect.

Dua Lipa, on the other hand, should grow up a little, shouldn't she? Maybe she forgot what time of the year it is. Summer has passed, baby. It's November, and we're waiting for the snow. That lends this mermaid style the flavour of a dirty pond rather than crystal clear sea.

Bathrobe queen
I like that Ciara isn't afraid to go against the stream. Red is a great color and, in theory, one can't go wrong with black. But it seems to me that she'd accidentally grabbed a very bold bathrobe with a train instead of the gown she'd planned to wear, paired it with dominatrix boots from her BDSM closet and headed to the red carpet. Good thing is that the wide bathrobe is doing a decent job of covering her huge thighs.

Seeing Bebe Rexha, I feel the urge to yell at the top of my lungs: Why, God, why? Why won't anyone tell the girl this is not the way to go? Doesn't she pay a bunch of stylists? And I have a feeling that she'd put the dress on wrong. Or does it have such a weird shape on purpose? And her slit must have ridden up a little when she was getting out of the limousine, right? If I had such huge thighs, I would rather hide them under the beautiful glittering skirt and hope that people will be focused on the approaching Christmas...
