Yes, you see it right. I’m not crazy. To the people who now think that I’m far behind the current trends… Why have I learned about the show just recently? No one is discussing it on Facebook or Insta. I haven’t noticed.

And I'm asking: WHY?

Until one day, a friend of mine randomly mentioned that he wouldn’t go out with me, because from 10 PM he needed to be at home to not to miss an episode of some TV show. I got curious because he’s not the kind of person to watch series too often. So I watched the show based on his recommendation. My reaction can be summed up in one word: WHY? I’m asking why? After watching the show, one would conclude that Tinder is actually not that bad and even regular porn is quite fine.

I won’t buy a pig in a poke

Now I’m coming to realize why unknown men keep sending me unsolicited dick pics. Previously I thought they believed their junk is sexy and it would awaken some animalistic urges on my side, however now I know, it is simply a necessity. You don’t want to buy a pig in a poke.

Penises everywhere

I’ve watched the episode where a 38-year-old yogi picked from 6 penises! They locked the men in colourful glass boxes and uncovered only the lower parts of their bodies. The yogi has surely never seen that many penises at once. I got curious as one of the men was missing legs, he had metal prosthetics. Later they explained he used to be a soldier that stepped on a landmine. However, before you find all of this out, you only see his penis and legs.

By that point, I was getting sick

When the yogi eliminated one of the candidates, the cover was moved higher above the level of men’s chest. After evaluating their penises and pubic hair, she started to smell the men, as every mán needs to smell (stink) like a man! By that point, I was getting sick.

I am no puritan but this is crazy

I’d like to make it clear that I am no puritan but this seems crazy. And let's not even imagine a guy choosing between six girls. Yesterday, you ladies still believed we were all the same down there, today you're in for a surprise. I’ve never seen so many vaginas of all shapes and sizes. And there is nothing more humiliating than listening to how your labia is too big or too small. When it comes to breasts, you are kind of used to it, but in this case…

By the end when only two finalists remain, the competitor also gets naked and everyone checks each other's genitals. The winner gets to have a date with the competitor, the rest is up to them.

The idea is good, the reality worse

All in all, there's a deep idea somewhere in this mess. We are returning to our roots. When you're looking for a date on Tinder or other dating sites, you see your potential partner dressed up. But when you meet and there is a chance of having sex, which every relationship is heading towards, under the sheets you may find out that the person you are with is not by any means suitable. In this show they want to avoid such realisation, that’s why they start from the end. The idea is good, not gonna lie. But imagine it yourself. Would you go through with this? Personally, I wouldn’t, not even for the money.

What I was surprised about more than the sleazy and inappropriate notes from the competitors of the show was the fact it aired in 2016! Till this year 7 more seasons have aired. The show comes from Britain, which is not that far away from us. How is it possible that I learnt about it just now, when a Czech TV channel picked it up? Incredible.

Penny for your thoughts: I’m curious about your opinion on this. Is it ok? Would you step in front of the camera naked, just to have your genital evaluated and then maybe being humiliatingly eliminated?
