Japanese technology company TeamLab is known for creating amazing, luxurious 3D installations. If you want to enter a magic space and look into the brilliant mind of this extremely creative team of artists who know no boundaries for creativity and imagination, you have a unique opportunity. The masters of TeamLab will present their artistic side in the form of their best works at La Villette, an expansive exhibition centre in Paris. The exclusive exhibition is part of a major cultural event called “Japonismes 2018”, which celebrates 160 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and France.
The astounding premises are created by a massive field of computer-controlled digital projectors. You can discover what it’s like to be immersed in space, be “refreshed” by a giant waterfall projected onto a wall 11 metres high and 26.5 metres wide, or be carried away by a floral flood of living plants in an endless cycle. Most of the projections are interactive and change according to the viewer’s position and physical contact, almost creating a shared virtual reality.
Toshiyuki Inoko, Head of TeamLab.
