The luxurious McLaren Senna will be available for sale in 2019 albeit in very limited numbers. Unlike the extreme McLaren Senna GTR, you will be able to see the "ordinary Senna" in everyday traffic. Yet McLaren Senna was created as a race car. First and foremost it is therefore intended for driving on fast tracks. And very fast ones at that!
The two BEST points of the most luxurious race car
The bodywork of McLaren Senna is made of carbon fibres. The weight of the luxury car does not exceed 1200 kg. This makes it the lightest car ever designed by this carmaker.
Under the bonnet nestles a four-litre M840TR engine with an output of 588 kW (825 hp). And here comes the second BEST: this is the best performance car ever created by McLaren!
The car was named after Brazilian racing driver, Ayrton Senna da Silva.
The design of the vehicle features perfect aerodynamics, excels through its robust front splitter and cooling holes which appear throughout the entire bodywork. What one certainly cannot overlook as concerns the vehicle exterior are the partially transparent doors. Ayrton Senna da Silva would have been proud of this unique piece being named after him.
The luxurious cockpit offers features that are necessary for a perfect driving experience: display under the steering wheel, screen in the centre panel of the dashboard, audio system and a rear camera. Clients will of course be able to order customised seats of luxurious leather or Alcantara.
Production should start in the second half of next year with a price tag of around 21.8 million crowns.
