Luxurious garments which look fresh and relaxed paradoxically originated through absolute mathematical precision. The popular paisley pattern was supplemented by patchwork and precision thus played an essential role in the creation of the collection. Everything had to fit to perfection and it looks as though it worked. There is nothing that can be said against the FW 2018/2019 collection!
There are plenty of earthy tones inspired by the countryside - brickstone, sand, earthy brown, mustard, khaki, bordeaux, ochre or white. In the question of materials, Veronica Etro did not limit herself too much, having reached for wool, silk, suede, leather, jacquard, chiffon or, for example, denim. The thematic boho style was perfectly accentuated by tassels, trimming the garments themselves as well as the luxurious accessories.
Contrasting strips accentuating feminine curves, woollen caps, silk scarves and shoulder bags have proved to be stylish accessories that perfectly resonate with the luxurious boho style of Etro. Among the most successful pieces of the collection are suede high boots in earthy tones. Although they are not very practical for a rainy autumnal afternoon, they are very easy on the eye and team up with boho style admirably!
The Etro FW 2018/2019 is a collection where any woman who loves style will come to her own. If you go for the fresh and colourful boho style, you can pick for example the silk and chiffon dress, blouses, or one of the woollen ponchos. Stylish coats and suits are on the other hand suitable pieces for all elegant fashionistas.

The Etro brand has always attracted me by its unique approach in the creation of new collections. Once again I am thrilled by its originality and fantasy exuding from the new collection. One can clearly see that even if there is a bit too much of something but it´s well put together, there is no fault!
For me the biggest score was definitely the long quilted coat the top part of which is reminiscent of a Napoleon Bonaparte´s uniform. The rest is a bit of a mixture of gypsy and Mongolian style, but it doesn´t matter at all. On the contrary, it has flair and I would wear that straight from the first autumn day! Shopping, the Fashion Week, work: simply a multifunctional coat, in which you will definitely stand out from the crowd (that was the idea, wasn´t it?).
Also worth noting is the floaty dress of brown colour with the narrow belt and black over-the-knee boots. It is extremely sexy and as can be seen, plain curls and subtle make go with it perfectly. The only thing that in my mind doesn´t go with the models are those giant earrings reminding me of clip ons ...and I hate those to death! Mainly the feeling of a falling-off ear as you walk.
