Emilio Pucci

The legendary designer, Marquis Emilio Pucci di Barsento, founder of the Italian brand, was in his creation always driven by desire to liberate women and provide them with an unprecedented freedom of movement. He was inspired primarily by natural landscapes of the Mediterranean Sea and exotic places which he visited. The exclusive collection full of iconic prints is also carried in this spirit and gives an insight into the most luxurious holiday destinations.

Stylish unisex pieces

The luxury collection featuring sailing regatta, parasols, historical houses, lush vegetation and enchanting romantic settings, reflects the charm of St. Tropez, Portofino, and the Italian island of Capri. The exclusive collection of models offers stylish unisex pieces intended for him and her.

St. Tropez: On the wave of optimism

The illustrations in optimistic colours of pink, orange and violet placed against the gentle white, show an enchanting view of summer paradise, reflecting the carefree spirit and vivacity of the French town. The collection brings unisex pieces, such as a cotton T-shirt, a silk blouse, shorts or trendy espadrilles.

Capri: An idyllic island, pulsing with life

Capri by its illustrations in the shades of blue, yellow and pink, placed against elegant black background, reflects scenes from social life of the idyllic island, including an insight into the central square known as a "small theatre of the world." Apart from a shirt, a T-shirts, shorts and espadrilles, Pucci also brings a luxury pillow case.

Portofino? Dress in blue!

The collection recalls the importance of the city not only as that of a sea port, but also an attractive centre. In the Portofino collection predominates fresh blue decorated by orange and red illustrations.

If you are setting off to any such holiday destinations as those that inspired Emilio Pucci and wish to blend in perfectly, then the limited summer collection is undoubtedly the right fashion accessory.

Ultra-coloured collection suitable perhaps for a postcard

The colourful, in places a rather wild collection of Emillio Pucci, as representation of European destinations that are well worth a visit - as a motif for a postcard it is perhaps okay, but I am not sure I would wear something so ultra vividly coloured.

The pink silk shirt with hearts as from the film "Saturday Night Fever" (1977) is supposed to be unisex. When I imagine my husband, father, grandfather or even my son Quentin wearing something like that, I want to laugh. For a transvestite party or a gay dance club it is perhaps fine, but even a small hetero would look in it like a clown. Pink with hearts - it simply doesn´t befit men and never will!

On the other hand, the blue shorts and shirts showing Portofino are absolutely enchanting. To be more precise, I would just love to put something like that on for a trip to Italy. It is chic, certainly comfortable and in addition the combination of colours is a classic. From that follows that I have chosen just one model from the whole of the collection. For such a famous brand quite a poor ´score´...
