The Czech Republic knows its candidates for the elections

The Czech Statistical Office published a list of candidates for the October elections to regional councils and one third of the Senate on the election.cz website. Currently, over 9,700 candidates are running for office in regional elections. Of the total number of candidates, females represent 27.5%, which means that their relative representation has decreased slightly compared to previous elections. A total of 235 candidates are registered in the Senate elections, 84% of whom are male.

People who'll be quarantined due to the coronavirus will have three choices. They will be able to vote from their car in designated areas or, if necessary, request the arrival of a special election commission with a portable ballot box. Special constituencies will be set up for social and medical facilities.
