Just a few days after the tightening of measures and the call for people to stay at home, the Minister of Health was photographed in a closed restaurant in Prague's Vyšehrad. Other people were there with him, including the deputy chairman of ANO Jaroslav Faltýnek. The opposition therefore calls on Prymula to resign. Deputy Prime Minister Jan Hamáček has also commented on the cause, expressing the opinion that Prymula should resign:
"The rules apply to everyone without exception. Minister Prymula and Mr. Faltynek will have to explain what they were doing in a restaurant that is supposed to be closed while the country is under the state of emergecy."

US presidential candidates had their last confrontation before the election. And even though the debate was not as fierce as the first had been, personal attacks and arguments with unsubstantiated information still occured.
The 90-minute debate was divided into 15-minute blocks. Their topics were the fight against coronavirus, racial issues, American families, climate, security and leadership. The speakers newly had a 2-minute room to talk at the beginning of each block, during which time the other candidate's microphone was muted.

And which topics dominated the debate? Democratic candidate Joe Biden blamed the current president for the unsuccessful fight against the coronavirus, while Trump wouldn't stop repeating unsubstantiated allegations of corruption against Biden and his family. Biden also accused Trump of racism, pointing out the president was "pouring oil into every racist fire."
The issue of coronavirus was also very much addressed: each man offered his vision of what the following months might look like. And they couldn't be more different. While Biden warned that the US is about to go into a "dark winter" as cases continue to rise, Trump expects the opposite:
"I don't know if we're going to have a dark winter at all. We're opening up our country. We have no choice. We can't lock ourselves up in a basement like Joe does."

Slovaks drew inspiration from the Czech safety measures against Covid-19 and, starting on November 1, introduced curfew. People will be allowed to go only to work and back, for testing, out to nature in the area of residence or to a food store. Free movement is allowed only between 1:00 and 5:00.
In the four most affected regions (Námestovo, Trdošín, Dolný Kubín and Bardejov) the rules will be even stricter. People will need a negative coronavirus test even for a trip to the store, to the pharmacy, or for walking their dog.
The government is trying to make people participate in blanket testing.
Facebook will help you find love

It's not allowed to go to a cafe or a cinema, but you'd still like to find your soul mate? There are no words to describe how difficult dating is during the coronavirus crisis. But we've got some good news for you! The Facebook dating up has finally been launched in Europe. It's available in 32 European countries, Czech Republic among them.
Symbolically, the app was originally scheduled to go live the day before Valentine's Day, but its launch has been postponed due to privacy concerns. The Irish Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, which oversees Facebook (its European headquarters are in Dublin) expressed their concern. However, they have recently published a report that states that the social network provided a "detailed explanation" of how personal data would be processed and was given the green light.
And how does the application actually work? In its principle, it is very similar to Tinder - you scroll through the individual profiles and mark them with a heart or a cross. However, according to the app's manager, it should "help more people find meaningful relationships through things they have in common, such as interests, events and groups." So, now you know how to spend a weekend in isolation!

CEZ got rid of most of Romania's assets

CEZ Energy Group sold most of its Romanian assets to the British company Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA). The power utility sold a total of seven Romanian companies, keeping only High-Tech Clima and CEZ Trade Romania. The price of the transaction is unknown.
The deal has yet to be approved by the antitrust authority, as well as the the Romanian State Security Council.

A glittery top, a jacket with the singer's name, rainbow accessories and iconic glasses. That's what the limited edition Barbie doll, inspired by the legendary singer Elton John himself, looks like.
Mattel released it to mark the 45th anniversary of the singer's record-breaking two-day performance at Dodger Stadium in October 1975, which was attended by 100,000 people. It was one of the biggest concerts of its time.
"Barbie is an icon in her own right, so having her pay tribute to my work and personal style is a real honour. I hope that she inspires fans everywhere to fearlessly pursue their own dreams and limitless potential,"
said the singer himself. You can buy the doll for 1,100 crowns.
