Brazil unveiled its long-awaited COVID-19 vaccination plan yesterday, with the initial goal of vaccinating 51 million people in the first half of next year, which is about a quarter of the country's population.

In a document submitted to the Supreme Court, which gave the government a deadline to develop a plan, the health ministry said 108 million benefits would be available for priority vaccination of vulnerable groups, including health workers, the elderly and indigenous communities. The plan says that 70% of the population - or about 148 million of the 212 million people in Brazil - must be immunized to prevent the spread of the virus. The current plan covers about one third of this target.

Micheal Phelps, who retired from swimming as the most successful Olympian in history in 2016, has little hope of a clean, doping-free Olympics in Tokyo next year. When asked how clean he thinks the Olympics next year will be, he answered "four or five" out of ten.

"I can honestly say that throughout my whole entire career, I don't know if I ever competed in a clean field,"

added Phelps. This year marked the eight-year-anniversary of the 2012 Olympics in London, where the star athlete won four gold medals. Those Games have been described as the dirtiest Olympics in history, with more than 130 athletes banned or disqualified for doping offenses, according to Olympedia.

Phelps, who's had several positive drug test during his career, says he can "guarantee" no athlete has been tested as much as he was on an Olympic level and insists everyone should be held to the same high standards.

The International Olympic Committee, which oversees drug testing at the Games, has maintained that fighting for clean sport is among its top priorities.

On Saturday, Twitter said that it had "inadvertently" limited engagements for a brief period on Trump's tweets with "disputed" labels but later reversed its action. Some users on the platform had noticed that the ability to like, re-tweet or reply to the US President's tweets with a "disputed" label was not working.

"We inadvertently took action to limit engagements on the labeled Tweet you referenced. This action has been reversed,"

a Twitter spokesman told Reuters in an email statement. Twitter has recently started to add "multiple warnings and other disputed tweet labels" to Trump's tweets, including many that had made baseless allegations of election fraud in the US election. The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Country music star Charlie Pride died today at the age of 86. His rich baritone and hits such as "Kiss an Angel Good Morning" helped sell millions of records, turning the singer into the first black member of the country music hall of fame.

Pride died on Saturday in Dallas of coronavirus complications. During his career, which began in the mid-1960s, Pride released dozens of albums and sold more than 25 million records. His biggest hits included "Is Anybody Goin to San Antone", "Burgers and Fries", "Mountain of Love" and "Someone Loves You Honey".

He won three Grammy Awards and in 1972 received the Best Male Singer and Entertainer of the Year Country Music award. In 2000, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

That's all from us for now. We wish you a beautiful third Advent Sunday. And don't forget what the ancient Greek playwright Sophocles said:

"Remember, the worst hour of your life only lasts for sixty minutes."
