Prague is preparing new boarding houses

Prague wants to purchase facilities for short-term accommodation for people in social need or members of key professions, such as firefighters, police officers or paramedics. These should be boarding houses, hostels or apartment buildings that could accommodate up to 500 people in total. The Prague City Council has already approved its intention to announce a public tender for the purchase of these facilities. Adam Zábranský, Councilor for Housing and Transparency, specified the plans:
"Other upcoming projects include, for example, a city rental agency, a fund to help paying tenancy deposits, various types of guarantees for private landlords or contact points for housing."
The French marched to honor the memory of a murdered teacher
Tens of thousands of Frenchmen took to the streets to honor the murdered high school teacher Samuel Paty. He used to lecture on freedom of speech and showed his students a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad. On Friday, a young man of Chechen origin cut off his head in a Parisian suburb.
People gathered in Paris, Marseille, Lyon and other large cities throughout France. Many protesters brought with them signs with the words #JeSuisProf. The event was also supported by the editors of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

It may sound like something out of a sci-fi movie, but it's true: in order for NASA to reach its goal of building a base on the Moon by 2028, it has offered companies $ 370 million to place various technologies on its surface. Among them is a 4G network.
The project is being implemented by the research company Bell Labs, which belongs to Nokia. It received $ 14.1 million for the project. But if you thought the astronauts would be using the network to update their Facebook statutes, you'd be wrong.

According to Bell Labs, astronauts should be using the network for data transmission, navigation and video streaming. Wireless internet should provide a more stable and reliable way of communication. And just like on Earth, it should be upgraded to 5G in the future.

American alternative band The Flaming Lips solved the problem with soocial distancing measures in their own unique way. To protect everyone from the coronavirus, both the band and the audience were dancing in giant transparent bubbles.
The band had already used inflatable bubbles during their performances before the pandemic. This time, they ordered a hundred of them from China, enabling a unique event in Oklahoma City to happen.
New York wedding for tens of thousands of guests cancelled

The gigantic wedding of Orthodox Jews in New York, which was supposed to be attended by about 10,000 guests, will not take place. This is due to coronavirus concerns. The grandson of a well-known Hasidic rabbi was supposed to exchange vows with his bride. However, the measures currently in place in New York do not allow a wedding to by attended by more than 50 people.
This further escalates tensions between the Orthodox community and the city of New York, after authorities had put certain neighborhoods under quarantine. Orthodox Jews have also been criticized for violating anti-coronavirus measures because of their customs and traditions.

Pop diva Ariana Grande has announced the release of her new album! The star surprised her fans by letting them know about her plans on Twitter. She would like to release the album into the world this month.
It will be Ariana's sixth album overall, but its name hasn't been revealed yet. Earlier this year, though, Grande revealed that she was collaborating with the American singer and rapper Doja Cat.
