A free respirator and five face masks for Czech seniors
The government has decided that people over the age of 60 will receive one respirator and five face masks from the state. At the end of last year, there were over 2.5 million seniors living in the Czech Republic. The measure was preceded by a sharp increase in the number of coronavirus infections during the previous days.

George Bizos - Nelson Mandela's lawyer and icon of the fight against apartheid - died at the age of 92. The South African president remembered him as one of the architects of the South African constitution. Bizos was also one of the people who saved Nelson Mandela from the death penalty.
There will be no recourse agreement between luxury brands
The French concern Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA (LVMH), which houses more than 60 luxury goods brands (from Moët & Chandon champagne to fashion brands Givechy or Kenzo), no longer wants to take over the Tiffany & Co. jewelry brand. Under the agreement of last autumn, LVMH is expected to pay a record $ 16.2 billion for Tiffany, which would make it the largest acquisition for LVMH to date. Now, however, politics has come into play and according to LVMH, the situation is complicated. Tiffany & Co intends to take matters to court and attempt to enforce the agreement.
Greek refugee camp on fire
One of Europe's largest refugee camps - Camp Moria, located on the Greek island of Lesbos - was destroyed by flames. Thousands of people need help. According to deputy Greek Minister for Migration Giorgos Koumoutsakos, this is an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. He believes it is a miracle that there were no deaths or injuries.
Danish killer confessed for the first time
Inventor Peter Madsen was sentenced to life in prison for killing journalist Kim Wall inside his submarine in 2018. Although the 43-year-old man originally insisted that Kim's death was an accident, he has now confessed to his act in a television documentary.
"It's my fault she died. And it's my fault because I committed the crime. It's all my fault... There's only one person who is guilty, and that's me."

The Italian fashion house Fendi has a new creative director! The man in the job is British designer of Dior, Kim Jones, who is known for combining street and high fashion. His models are popular with such as Robert Pattinson and Rami Malek. Jones also designed the suit that David Beckham wore to Prince Harry's wedding. In Fendi, he will replace Lagerfeld, who died last year.
