As of today, a new Minister of Health - Roman Prymula - will take office. This happens after Adam Vojtěch resigned on Monday.

The tour only ended on Sunday and a doping scandal is already looming in the air! The Marseille Public Prosecutor's Office has opened a preliminary investigation. French media whisper that the affair might concern the Arkéa-Samsic team that features such cyclits as the famous Colombian mountaineer Nairo Quintana.
The press is of the opinion that the main suspect is his brother Dayer, who competes for the same team. According to the authorities, two members close to one of the riders should also be in custody, and there is a couple of doctors among the suspects.
He may be famous primarily as one of the world's best basketball players, but Michael Jordan is passionate about other sports, too. Such as the NASCAR car races. He's so enthusiastic about those that he decided to form his own team together with driver Denny Hamlin.
Jordan has been the main sponsor of Hamlin's car for some time already, and now he has decided to deepen his ties to motorsport. He chose Bubba Wallace, the only black driver in NASCAR, to be the first member of his team.
"Growing up in North Carolina, my parents would take my brothers, sisters and me to races, and I’ve been a NASCAR fan my whole life. The opportunity to own my own racing team in partnership with my friend, Denny Hamlin, and to have Bubba Wallace driving for us, is very exciting for me."
Do you remember how we informed you about the largest luxury goods sale that never took place? For several weeks now, the fact that the French concern Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA (LVMH), which includes brands ranging from Moët & Chandon champagne to fashion brands Givenchy and Kenzo, no longer wants to take over the Tiffany & Co. jewelry brand is being discussed. According to an agreement from last autumn, LVMH was supposed to pay a record $ 16.2 billion for Tiffany.
And things have recently escalated! Tiffany & Co was quick to approach the court, requesting to expedite the case. And the court agreed. The dispute will thus be resolved during a 4-day hearing starting on January 4. Supposedly, Tiffany & Co's main reason was that LVMH was relying on erroneous legal preconditions when terminating the agreement.

On the shores of Australia, rescuers have been trying to free trapped roundheads for several days. The animals are still partially submerged in water, but not deep enough for them to swim on their own. In total, there are about 270 of them trapped in Tasmania, and rescuers fear that a third may be already dead. That makes this incident the worst in ten years.
A team of about forty trained rescuers is trying to move the creatures into deeper water, using special equipment, such as a boat ramp. They are even considering to ask the public for help. Despite the fact that an extensive several-day operation is taking place to save the cetaceans, according to some experts, it could be too late - whales in similar conditions typically survive only four days.
Nobody knows what attracts whales to the Tasmanian coast. However, Tasmania is known for beached cetaceans - they often pass its shores on the way to Antarctica.
