Prague will support contact points for housing in the city districts of Prague 3 and Prague 7. Yesterday, the Prague councilors discussed the provision of a non-investment special-purpose subsidy in the amount of approximately 3.9 million crowns to staff the operation of these places until the end of 2022.

"In addressing the causes and consequences of homelessness, we are inspired by successful domestic and foreign projects. Housing contact centers are an essential element of the housing emergency system in Scotland, for example,”

said Adam Zábranský, Councilor for Housing and Transparency.

There are an estimated 12,000 people at risk of serious housing deprivation in the capital.

Almost all major scientific and pharmaceutical companies in the world got involved in the development of the Covid-19 vaccine. Johnson & Johnson is no exception, but now they have an issue to solve. The company said they had suspended the advanced clinical trial of its investigational coronavirus vaccine due to unexplained illness in one of the volunteers.

"Serious adverse reactions are not uncommon in clinical trials and the number of serious adverse reactions can reasonably be expected to increase during studies involving a large number of participants,"

claimed Johnson & Johnson. The Dean of Brown University School of Public Health Ashish Jha confirmed their words.

"The Johnson & Johnson study is the biggest vaccine trial I know of - 60,000 people. You would expect a few breaks in a trial of this size."

After weeks of protests against sexual violence in the country, the Bangladeshi cabinet approved an amendment on Monday that, according to the state news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), changes the maximum sentence of convicted rapists from life imprisonment to death. The new provision will enter into force once it has been signed by Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid. However, this step is considered a mere formality.

The Bangladeshi government has been facing appeals and a wave of demonstrations to take more steps to prevent sexual violence after a video showing a group of men attacking and sexually assaulting a woman in southern Bangladesh had spread through the country.

"The law will certainly discourage people from these notorious crimes, while at the same time making every effort to speed up the rape trials in the relevant courts,"

said Human Rights Minister Anisul Huq.

Who else should portray the iconic Cleopatra than the charismatic Israeli beauty Gal Gadot? She will play the Queen of the Nile in an upcoming film directed by Patty Jenkins. Gadot made an announcement about being cast as Cleopatra on Twitter.

"As you might have heard I teamed up with @PattyJenks and @LKalogridis

to bring the story of Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, to the big screen in a way she’s never been seen before. To tell her story for the first time through women's eyes, both behind and in front of the camera."

In the past, Cleopatra was portrayed by Elizabeth Taylor. The 1963 film won four Oscars, including Best Picture. Do you think the new version will have similar success?
