The luxury brand of Emporio Armani seems to believe that one can never get tired of the logo. At first glance it is not too difficult to detect on what basis the Eagle Bags stand. Handbags in the shape of the iconic eagle with spread wings are a courageous step and the result of a refined design and modern elegance.
The fashion house offers the luxurious Eagle Bags in thirteen finishes. You can choose from the classic black and white, metallic silver, gold, navy blue and electric blue, vivid pink, red and pea colour or two transparent types in pink and sky blue shades.
The unique line is made from calfskin, cowhide and lambskin, PVC or even plexiglass! Emporio Armani thus demonstrates that the popular material could be applied not only in the automotive, optical or medical industry, but also in the world of luxury fashion.
The handbags are characterized by a detachable strap, inner pocket and a zip fastener. Thanks to their smaller size it is definitely no shopper and more than the absolute necessities won´t fit in. However, functionality is not its primary purpose; Eagle Bags is more of a design affair.
From that point of view, Eagle Bags are slightly disappointing. In the world overflowing with logos we expected something more original and something that wouldn´t resemble children´s range. So, let´s see what will the Italian luxury brand come up with the next time.
Plastic "Eagle mini bags" by Emporio Armani? Certainly, a lot of mile-long steps back in the fashion world! For goodness sake there is everything absolutely wrong here and not one seam or zip is right…
So firstly, finally we live in a more environmentally conscious world where we are all talking about pollution of the planet, devising a diverse range of technologies of how to make every effort to save our natural resources. But what does Emporio Armani do in the midst of vegan FairTrade fashion events? It introduces to the world a piece of ugly plastic for...and now hold on tight 10,890 crowns!!! Perhaps this is a bad joke?!
Not only is it an absolute flop just because of the material from which the bag was produced but look at the aesthetic side of it! To carry around one giant plastic logo?! Come on! I simply haven´t for a long time now indulged in any visible and screamingly obvious logos and believe me that T-shirts (or other accessories) with a huge logo, such as ´Hugo Boss´ scrawled across the breast, certainly cannot be called a luxury item. In my opinion the Eagle Bag is an absolute flop!
