A few months ago, Eva Herzigová was the star of a Fendi show, and now the catwalk belonged to other supermodels of the 1990s. During the launch of the new haute couture Spring 2021 collection, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington Burns walked for Fendi. And there was another huge surprise: actress Demi Moore also made an appearance, kicking off the whole show. It needs to be mentioned that her look might have gotten more attention than the Fendi model itself.
Fifty-eight-year-old actress Demi Moore opened the show, model Naomi Campbell closed it. And it was these two beauties that attracted the most attention. Speaking about Naomi Campbell, it seems like she's not ageing at all - and she'll celebrate her 51st birthday in a few months! Demi Moore, on the other hand, was almost unrecognizable due to all the fillings and botox. Both the public and the media noticed and pulled her to pieces after the show.

Thought out down to the last bead
Fendi introduced a total of 19 looks, which isn't much, but the saying that quality is above quantity is doubly true in the case of haute couture. The new creative director Kim Jones is well aware of this, which is why he decided to focus on the smallest details in each of the models. And he did a great job. The precise bead embroidery, which gives the dress a touch of luxury, is absolutely luxurious.

The pompous collection works quite wonderfully with cuts and materials. Among other things, it combines elegant evening dresses with jackets and complements luxurious ensembles made of shiny silk with capes. Fans of metallic shades and transparent fabrics, such as organza or lace, that leave plenty of room for fantasy while at the same time revealing more than enough, will also get their money's worth.

When I hear Fendi, I immediately think of Karel Lagerfeld and the series Sex in the City, as well as words like luxury, minimalism and style. The Fendi fashion house is a real fashion Bible that rarely makes a bad call.
Nevertheless, I discovered a huge mistake in the new haute couture SS2021 collection that I definitely wouldn't want to have in my wardrobe - not even for free, no matter how many Fendi tags it had. In any case, this is the only exception, and I don't find it hard to forgive designer Kim Jones, because let's be honest here - replacing the late fashion icon Karel Lagerfeld after 54 years is an enormous challenge!

This dress is a fantasy! I couldn't find a single flaw if I tried. It's got flair, sex appeal and looks absolutely luxurious. I enjoy the colour and the combination of the material with metallic reflections that have a mystical effect, while at the same time leave room for imagination. You will definitely become the queen of the party in this gown!

Don't be mad at me, but this is madness. It looks like if I dug out my grandmother's rug and turned it into something like a coat. This tacky robe is a long way from an attractive model. I wouldn't spend a penny on this! The only thing that can be praised here is the pleasant body colour, but that's probably the end of it.
Elegance without chastity

The dress is intended for bolder types of women who are not ashamed to show their femininity in full display. Chastity has no place here, so if you want to present yourself as Holy Virgin Mary, don't even think about this model. However, you can be absolutely sure the dress is not skimpy, because the subtle golden hue gives the model a sense of elegance and sophistication.
Luxury game of hide and seek

This model has one big advantage - you can hide some extra pounds in it AND indulge in anything you might want to taste during the event, without having to suck your belly in all the time. And the icing on the cake? It's made of a luxurious material that will make you shine even at the most prestigious events.

Looking at this photo, I don't know what to think. For example, I absolutely can't imagine Brad Pitt wearing something like this. I'd think he'd gone completely mad. But if Harry Styles donned it, I'd say the dude has an incredibly distinctive style. At the same time, I'm wondering if this model is really intended for men... I don't know, but I can tell you that Arctic green looks amazing in combination with this design!
I would say that Kim Jones can be justifiably proud of himself, because he's done a marvellous job with his first and highly anticipated haute couture collection. I'm already looking forward to what he comes up with the next time, because this show full of healthy self-confidence and freedom was a real success.
