The SS19 Valentino is carried in the spirit of freedom and luxury haute couture. Designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the Italian fashion house, in Paris again demonstrated his designing talents and in connection with the approaching end of the Paris Fashion Week confirmed that it is worthwhile to wait for the best.

Long floaty maxi dresses, pleated skirts, stylish blouses, sporty jumpers with fringes and massive logos or gowns of wild colours, Oriental designs and ancient Greece-inspired cuts. The Valentino SS19 luxury collection is literally a divine spectacle, which explains how Pierpaolo Piccioli managed to jump-start the annual turnover. The designer is simply blessed with a great talent and to find among the models any piece which one would not wish to have in the wardrobe would cost you a little more effort and energy than is the case of other designers.
The SS19 season incorporates a lot of tassels and feathers
Valentino accessorised its luxury models by massive straw hats, distinctive jewellery in the form of gold hoop earrings, playful sandals with feathers at the heel, belts with the logo or stylish handbags. And in case of the accessories as well as the clothes it applies that the more the better. As demonstrated by other designers before, the SS19 season will be replete with tassels and feathers. On the catwalk also appeared charming American model, Kristen McMenamy, who will this year blow of 54 candles, but hardly anyone would have guessed that. Next to the younger generation of models at the Paris Fashion Week she just glowed and reaped a wave of praise!

Pierpaolo Piccioli left nothing to chance and put his best into this collection. It was worth it. Everyone will be able to choose something from this SS19 collection, even leaving out the T-shirts with the abbreviated ´VLTN´ logo.
The dress which really caught my attention is of orange colour. This is actually a surprise to me, since I don´t really go for orange at all. But when I see this shorter pleated little dress matched by red sandals decorated by ostrich feathers and those beautiful golden earrings, somehow, I cannot resist. And then there is that fantastic hat! Yes, it gigantic, but its smaller version could be worn on daily basis. A small espresso with a little foam on top, and on a small dessert plate an excellent éclair at Café Savoy… You just need a great book and you have the perfect (lazy) afternoon in the best spring clothes by Valentino.
Then there is the deep black part of the collection which I would put at first glance into the autumn/winter collection. However, spring, and not only in Prague is sometimes pretty cold. And it is precisely at such still chilly times that would pull out this oversize black long-sleeved dress (again decorated by ostrich feathers). Just select the right scarf and head into the city.
