Why so many light bulbs?
The origin of the idea is a simile of Dubai’s vast desert and the amount of sand grains or the amount of sea drops, which join to create a strong ocean. There is power in unity, and when it comes to lighting this is true even more. It dazzles not only with its design solution.
The inconspicuous creator with grand ideas of luxury
Libor Sošták is innovative in his approach to product design. He likes to combine history and future. The aim isn’t the product itself, but the process which leads him to it. In his creation process, he gives respect to the charm of handiwork, and breathes youth and fresh air into traditional art forms. This is true for whatever his pen brings to life.

Dubai displays its advancing progress in many ways – the highest building in the world, the largest ‘Russian wheel’ and now the luxurious opera building on the lake Bjur Khalifa. To all those that represent the ‘Best of’ belongs the formidably resolved lighting, a project of the Czech company Lasvit, which focuses on design lightings and glass architectural elements.
