This is his fourth feature-length film, set in Buenos Aires. The main role is definitely not of a positive hero. Carlos Robledo Puch was nicknamed Angel of Death for his blonde curls. But his character was the opposite of an angel.
Already in his teenage years, he began experimenting with minor crimes that gradually escalated. He became a brutal murderer and the most famous prisoner of Argentina.
His appearance and the charm he used to bewitch those around him made him a celebrity essentially at the moment he was arrested. It happened in 1972, when he was just 20 years old. He committed 40 thefts and 11 murders. His victims died in various ways: knife wounds, blows from a rock, suffocation, shootings and strangulation. He has already been in prison for more than 40 years.
Carlos in the film El Angel is portrayed by young actor Lorenzo Ferro, and it is clear from the trailer that he played this role brilliantly. The film also stars: Chino Darin, Mercedes Morán, Daniel Fanego and others.
