The Geneva Motor Show, however, revealed that the car goes even further: revealing its extreme sports version Chiron Sport.
The secret of interior equipment
Bugatti Chiron is the first car in the world to be able to travel on roads with a power of 1500 HP. Under its hood, it hides an 8-liter four-stroke W16 engine, which generates 1500 kW with a huge torque of 1600 Nm thanks the two-stage Bugatti turbo charger. It has an almost linear performance curve between 2,000 j and 6,000 rpm. Other characteristic features include intelligent air supply control, which significantly improves the aerodynamics and helps with engine cooling efficiency. Its special carbon ceramic brake discs and calipers with eight titanium pistons have been developed especially for Chiron.
Luxury for more than 60 milion Czech Crown!
Dark blue color with red lights inside and outside, as well as red brake calipers provoke with beautiful contrast. The elegant shapes will charm you. There will only be 500 pieces made, and you will have to pay 65 million Czech Crowns if you want to own one of them. Find 2 milions more and you could by Chiron Sport.
Chiron Sport has experienced a weight reduction of 18 kg (thanks to new carbon parts, wheel and rear glass relief), stiffer chassis and new steering. From zero to 100 km/h, it can get in 2.5 seconds, the engine power remains the same. You can find photos from the showroom in our gallery.
Each name has its story
The name Chiron is quite famous in the automotive world. Racer Louis Chiron from Monaco had a lot of success namely before the war; however, during his life he also managed to race in the luxurious Formula 1. Maybe you even heard the saying “he drives like Chiron”. Chiron finished his first race in the famous Bugatti 35. Perhaps it’s a coincidence – but in any case, the luxurious Bugatti chose this name to represent its most amazing machine yet.
