Attention all fans of singer Britney Spears! We have excellent news for you: the princess of pop has become the new face of the La Memento No 2 collection by the Kenzo House of Fashion! And we have to say that she is truly sexy! Take a look and see how it suits her.
After several years Britney Spears has become the star of a deluxe advertising campaign again. The last time this happened was in 2000 when she was the face of Candie, but most people think that Britney Spears is not really the right candidate for presentation of a deluxe fashion brand, with regard to her scandalous life! But she suited the KENZO campaign perfectly and the models seem to be made for her. Not only does she look perfect and luxurious, but quite a few women will envy her abdominal muscles.
“If I could have any person to wear our denim collection, it would be Britney. She is the queen of denim for me,“ director of Kenzo, Humberto Leon revealed.
Spears looks like she has returned to her twenties, when video-clips were full of stars in deluxe denim clothing: hats, swimsuits, shoes, basically everything you can think of, in the campaign shot by Peter Lindbergh. This style really suits here, even though she herself initially didn’t feel that good in the models.
"Shooting was very unusual for me. I am used to shooting in a studio or a small space, but this was in the street. We were outside and I was wearing really promiscuous clothing, which seemed very weird. But the results are really cool," Britney said.
The collection includes several denim items, including high lace-up boots and models with the iconic tiger and The Great Wave of Kanagawa motif can also be found in the collection.

Britney Spears and her mission to get back into the spotlight after years of misery and an incredible fight has succeeded! And of course this has also resulted in an offer to shoot a campaign for a world-renowned brand, like KENZO. And she took the opportunity to show her muscled stomach to the entire world, as she did at the beginning of the millennium (that’s her brand I would say).
But her alabaster face in this campaign frightens me a little, like the square denim skirt with the giant pocket! I am horrified to realise that it reminds me of the work uniforms worn by ČKD workers, which I am familiar with from the “Hledání ztraceného času” series on ČT1 (but with the difference that they were compulsory then).
But back to Britney. In spite of all the photo shopping I really like her in the pink trench coat with tigers and a dense bamboo forest. It is fun and playful and I would even approve the bra and skirt. It is certainly the ideal choice for spring days full of sunlight. However, I would unmercifully get rid of the ball cap. In my opinion women around forty should only wear ball caps for sports activities” And you know what! Let’s just leave them to the children...
