Bombs at the Czech Ball: Makarenko had nipples at attention, Hrubešová hands in pockets and Mátlová was holding her breath
Last night was dedicated to the Municipal House and the seventh edition of the Czech Ball. This year, the ceremonious gala evening wasn't without troubles. Some "joker" reported a bomb in the Art Nouveau building during the event, and for security reasons, the action had to be interrupted for a few hours. After a professional inspection of the building, it was clear that it was a false alarm and the participants could return to the halls and continue celebrating the evening. Let's take a look at who shone this evening and who didn't.

Aneta Vignerová
The model is a constant of the ball, and she and her husband Petr Kolečka do not miss almost any year. This year she chose a beautiful black dress that perfectly fit her figure. A simple corset with an asymmetrical neckline and ruffles on the skirt emphasized her taste. Only the gloves could have been tight, as they do not pleasing to the eye this way. However, Aneta was the best-dressed star of the evening, there is no doubt about it.
Iveta Lutovská
The model hosted the entire ball along with Jan Čenský. She chose a simple black dress, which is absolutely fantastic in terms of cut. It highlights her wasp waist and subtly reveals what a woman should reveal at such an event. Iveta can afford such a neckline, because it does not appear vulgar on her, but rather flatters her greatly. She complemented everything with black velvet gloves. Maybe next time the designer could choose the same velvet for the skirt, because overall these dresses seem overly combined as a piece of clothing.
Hanka Kynychová
The coach has once again bet on transparent sophistication. The black dress revealed more than enough, but it must be mentioned that Hanka can afford it with her figure and it's not vulgar. She proves to all women that age is only a number and that a woman can shine at any age.

Indeed, a woman can radiate at any age, I agree with David on that, but Heidi has stepped slightly aside in the dress selection. The black dress in her interpretation has little to do with transparent sophistication. The dress hangs unnecessarily on the singer and I dare say it doesn't flatter her figure much. She would have done better if she had chosen a robe that would highlight her waist. Choosing a different haircut would not hurt either. It's clear that Heidi didn't bother much with the noble action.

The presenter and cook, bet on green. I'm amazed that everything remained in place in the dress. The feathers on the straps unnecessarily detract from the uniqueness of the dress rather than add to it. Pockets on an evening gown? Definitely not! Markéta had her hands in her pockets all evening, as if she had gone to the pub, not a ball. Pockets on a dress are nice, but definitely not for a black tie event. On her Instagram, she expressed that people who report bombs would be hung out to dry, well for those pockets, I don't know who would be better off in the draft.
Taťána Makarenko
The contest director probably suspected something would happen from the very beginning of the event. Her nipples in a turtleneck thermal underwear have been alert from the start. Going braless is a big trend and I like it myself, however, when I know I'm going to wear a model that highlights the nipples, there are stickers that hide them. Taťána probably didn't think about this. The dress itself is interesting only by color, because we really can't consider a thermal turtleneck with a piece of fabric around the waist to be high tailoring.
Tereza Mátlová
The opera singer demonstrated the mastery her craft hides. Singing requires her to take in a lot of air into her lungs to sing high arias. This, after all, was also demonstrated by the dress she chose, because it seemed that she held all the air in her lungs and cleavage. I'm just staring, wondering how the dress held up without bursting. What might have happened if she exhaled?

The model was the only one who chose a gold dress. Unfortunately, it looked more like a superhero costume from a B-movie sci-fi film than a formal evening gown. If the intention was to look like this, then congratulations. But if it was supposed to be elegant, then reality did not meet the expectations. However, for rescue services, it must have been a relief to know that there was a superheroine waiting for them, who could possibly save the whole situation.
