That´s the famous quote from the film Love Actually, stated by British actor, Bill Nighy as rocker Billy Mack. The actor, who on principle never watches the film, was also heard to have said that he wants the sentence to be engraved on his tombstone.
He came to Prague, to officially light up the Christmas tree at the shopping centre OC Chodov, and to also present a unique fund-raising projection of his film Love Actually. The Christmas comedy by director Richard Curtis is popular in many states and in Great Britain it is even broadcast before the Queen's Christmas message. But the actor himself does not watch the film. "During public holidays I prefer to watch football and on Christmas Day I don´t switch on television at all," said the actor who initially wasn´t supposed to get the role of Billy Mack.
Told Bill, who for the role of the mad rocker won a film award of the British Academy for the best supporting male actor. The famous and unforgettable song called Christmas is All Around was sung by Nighy himself and in Britain it was also released as a single. The original authors is The Trooggs band and their same-named song appeared also in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral, performed by Wet Wet Wet.
In 2017 there a ten-minute sequel was made, called Red Nose Day Actually, where the actors met after 13 years because of the British charity event Red Nose Day. No sequel to Love Actually is being prepared, now, nor in future," specified Nighy, who became famous through films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, where he played captain Davy Jones from the ship Flying Dutchman, or Harry Potter, where he played the new Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour. He is currently shooting the Pokemon movie.
William Francis "Bill" Nighy was born on 12. December 1949 in Caterham. He began to work at a theatre and TV, before he received his first film role in 1981. He became widely known for his role in Love Actually, Shaun of the Dead, Underworld and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
