Aňa Geislerová

This redheaded actress garnered the most fame for her role in the film Requiem pro panenku. In our view, actress Barbora Hrzánová gave a much better and more luxurious performance in that film, but Aňa’s depiction of the role in this movie skyrocketed her among the most luxurious stars of the local film industry. The actress tried to establish herself as a model, but it didn’t work out. Geislerová’s film career, on the other hand, took off more than well. At present, not a year goes by in which Aňa doesn’t feature in a Czech film. She often portrays slightly disturbed, fragile individuals.
