The Apple Christmas advert is here. And it was again filmed in Prague!
If you don’t believe it, make sure to have a look at the advert. When you see the flashing neon sign “HORSKÁ DRÁHA” you will be left in no doubt. In addition to this, the film is one and a half minutes of beautiful snow-covered romance accompanied by luxurious music and creative dance.
We like interesting adverts and most brands come up with the best ones during the period before Christmas. Apple is no exception to this rule and they enticed us with a glimpse of Christmas in the USA, followed by Great Britain on 25 November and it will soon be shown in the Czech Republic too.
A romantic story in the style of La La Land
Lauren walks along a snow-covered street listening to music from wireless Apple AirPod headphones. She pulls out a luxury iPhone X and chooses the song “Palace” by Sam Smith. She of course chooses this from her Apple Music playlist!
ALL OF A SUDDEN! The scene darkens and a spotlight singles her out. She starts to dance around the other pedestrians and while doing so, bumps into Christopher! Looking into his eyes, she takes out one earpiece and gives it to him. ALL OF A SUDDEN! The scene darkens and a spotlight singles them out. They dance together along the street, over bridges and the roofs of cars. The move in to kiss and ALL OF A SUDDEN! They are back in the real world on the street and looking at each other. They then each walk away in a different direction.
Lauren and Christopher Grant are luxury dancers who are husband and wife in real life.
The aim of this advert is to encourage people to look after and take an interest in one another and reminds us of the Apple motto that there is diversity in unity.
