Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will celebrate his 42nd birthday in style! He'll spend his big day in the new nest he bought together with his wife, Victoria's Secret angel Behati Prinsloo. They paid 500 million crowns for the historic estate from 1923 in Montecito, California. The property with an area of 21,000 square meters has recently been offered on the market for 650 million crowns, which means Levine managed to negotiate a pretty decent price.

The estate in Montecito was built almost a century ago, and architect George Washington Smith came up with a truly magnificent design. The driveway alone indicates that what you'll find at its end will be worth it. Behind the high gates, the road winds in the shade of massive oaks and around perfectly groomed lawns and lakes.
The main house, a guest house and a garden cottage

The property has a total of nine bedrooms. Five of them are located in the main house and decorated in a similar style. The main colour is white, combined with marble and wooden elements. All of them feature a carpet, which makes the rooms pleasantly cosy. The other two bedrooms can be found in the guest house and in the garden cottage.

Eleven. That's how many bathrooms there are in the mansion, and they all have something in common. They are really roomy! So much so that Levine and his band could easily shoot their new music video in one of them. Another common feature are two mirrors located opposite each other, visually enlarging the room even more. And, of course, a bathtub overlooking the terrace can't be amiss.

The house blends two styles - a very modern one with light colours and marble, and a slightly old-fashioned style with wooden elements. The main kitchen is made entirely of wood - the combination of white and brown looks luxurious, although the dark floor may be making the overall look a little bit too dark. The dominant feature of the room is, without doubt, the kitchen island, around which you could go jogging. There is an abundance of space for cooking.
Meet you in the foyer

Luxurious living usually cannot do with a common room called a "foyer". And, of course, you'll find one here! Arched windows and French doors provide perfect lighting. In the middle of the room is a fireplace with a black piano right by its side - we bet the singer spends many an evening here! Crackling wood, the sounds of a piano... What a nice mental image!

Not only does the property look stunning from the inside, but it's also probably even better from the outside! Adam Levine will celebrate his 42nd birthday tomorrow, so his timing couldn't have been better. In addition, the singer celebrates his 20th anniversary with the band Maroon 5, which he founded in 2001. Three years later, they won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Newcomer and in 2005, they also received a Grammy Award.
