He was born on May 17, 1949 in Prague and graduated from a general education secondary school. He began his musical career in the 1960s with Rebels, a band that continued in the 1970s as part of the Olympic band. Only a few years later he started a solo career. He started to gain success in the 1980s, when he started appearing on the television program Možná přijde i kouzelník. Here the singer began to change into a dancer and a tap dancer.
On September 25, he is preparing a luxury concert at O2 arena for his birthday. He says he is preparing something special for the fans.
“There will also be things I haven't sung for a long time and people know them, so it will be good,” said the singer, who does not look his age.
Yvetta sent him out to the world
The first song written for him by the late Karel Svoboda was Yvetta. The song also helped him get on stages abroad.
During his musical career he appeared in films and musicals. He debuted in the film with the film At the End of the World, played in the fairy tale Honza málem králem and appeared in the movies Trhák, Anděl s ďáblem v těle or Anděl svádí ďábla. He also appeared as a jester in the Dracula musical. Today he is a member of the successful 4TET vocal quartet.

He also went for a sports career and plays pool at a national champion level. He is fairly good at golf, which is how he also met his third wife, Renata Cieslerová, whom he married in October 2017. Korn has already had two failed marriages. The first wedding in 1972 with his wife Hana did not work out. The second marriage to Kateřina Kornová in 1992 also ended in divorce. With her he has a son, Filip, and a daughter, Kristina, who studied dance.
