1) Covered in feathers from head to toe
A feather dress, a feather overcoat, feathers in the hair or around the neck and in the neck-line. This element is an inherent part of the fantastic FW 19/20 collection, and we’ll see if other designers will follow in his steps. Brazen, fresh and in a healthy amount fit for wearing: It has a decisive yes from us!
2) Oversize overcoats
Oversize coats are a hot trend of the luxury FW 19/20 collection, and they appear all throughout the show. What are the rules? There are none! You’ll be trendy whether you wear grey, chequered, striped, kerosene, leopard motifs, pastel or gaudy red. The only thing you have to keep in mind in your selection is that the given article of clothing is ‘oversize’!
3) Socks in sandals
Socks in sandals and high hells YES x NO? There will be probably never be a unanimous answer to this question. While mere mortals absolutely despise this sort of trend, fashion designers love it, and gleefully keep returning it to the catwalk. Will Marc Jacobs be able to change your mind?
4) A stylish hair accessory
The more gaudy the hair accessory, the better! You can go for Indian feathers, a hat, a headband, but you’ll be best off if you combine all of those things together. Don’t be afraid of stepping out into proper extravagance in the upcoming fall.
5) Animal and flower motifs
Are you thinking of cleaning out your closet? Then, take care to not throw out something that might be useful! Trends such as flower or animal motifs keep coming up at the FW 2019. Therefore, if you own such clothes, definitely keep it for the next season.

The fashion by Marc Jacobs has always balanced on the edge of fashionableness and some practical joke. The FW 19/20 collection is clear evidence of that, because what is supposed to become the next ‘hot’ trend, is something that you’d hardly want at home.
A chequered poncho-overcoat, a feather stick on the head or fluffy socks in high heels? A strong no from me! This is a serious faux pas, and I myself would definitely not feel comfortable wearing this in society!
The only outfit, which really appealed to me, is the one worn by Gigi Hadid on the catwalk. A black elegant dress with a perfect V neck line and bell bottom sleeves. In a word, a symphony! (Apart from the scarf in the hair as if from a flea market). A perfect choice to casually wear in the city, or for example to a funeral.
