Colours such as pink, light orange and red are widely seen as colours for the fairer sex. But Adam Kost is of a different opinion. His luxurious Men´s Collection SS19 is made precisely in these colours.
Adam Kost had not longed for fashion designing career from his childhood years. His dream was to become aircraft constructor. But this dream fortunately for us has not worked out for him. He creates luxurious distinctive clothing, mainly focused on men´s audience. In 2013 he was a finalist in start-up Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week with his collections called Continuous Nothingness. He presented his women's collection within the VAN GRAAF Junior Talent 2017.
This is certainly suggested by the above-stated colours used. The collection is dominated by loose-fitting bell-bottomed trousers with a touch of retro. The sleeveless tops reveal manly arms. From the materials you can see leather as well as knitted fabrics.
Adam Kost often plays with patterns. His favourite are strips, in this collection; however, they are used quite rarely. The pattern used on tops and sweaters, is nevertheless a little similar to stripes. The luxury collections of Adam Kost always show a feel for perfect fit.
The dominant pieces here are definitely the luxury maxi pullovers which fell over one shoulder of the models. And oversize sweaters are certainly in now! Moreover, maxi sweaters have the advantage of being able to be worn both by men as well as women. If, ladies, your man or partner hesitates over a maxi pullover in pink, support him. You will also be able to wear them, too!
Fashion designer Adam Kost is one of few who are not afraid of colours in the Czech fashion field. In particular, we are talking about light pink, raspberry, coral red or chrysanthemum yellow. All of them will be a big hit of the next season!
However, which men will voluntarily put on a pair of giant red bell-bottoms and a light pink oversize sweater, off one shoulder with a matching close-fitting pink vest? No affirmative response will come from the House, nor a meeting in Mladá Boleslav Škoda works, not the Forbes pages of the most successful men under 30. This is more fitting for the pages of entirely different magazines.
But at the end there came one small surprise in the form of a loose-fitting white shirt with short sleeves, white shoes and loose black trousers. I saw something similar having been worn by members of the Metallica band. Quite a giant leap outside the boundaries, what do you think?
