In the spirit of haute couture

The young designer and student at the Fashion Design Studio at TBU, completely untouched by the world of show business just yet and radiating charming timidity, presented a luxurious SS20 collection at MBPFW that even his more experienced colleagues wouldn't have to be ashamed of! The collection celebrates feminine curves, flawless craftsmanship, the world of couture and demonstrates that Boris Král has mastered working with silhouettes!

Get your razors ready: Not even Pamela had her swimsuit cut this high

A bold model that started the show off caught everyone's attention, and why wouldn't it. Not even the lifeguards from the cult series Baywatch had their swimsuits cut this high. Two rules apply to wearing this - get your razor really sharp and get ready for people's prying eyes!

Something between Balmain and Jakub Polanka

The next part of the show revealed luxurious models whose aesthetic design and sharp lines reminded us of the work of French fashion house Balmain, combined with Czech designer Jakub Polanka.

We want these three!

We absolutely fell in love with these three pieces that we wouldn't change a single thing about.

High-waist blue shorts combined with a white coat and a satin bra top? Move aside, the queen of beaches and summer is coming through!

You might look a bit like the Little Red Riding Hood in this red midi dress with a round neckline, but you'll be the HOTTEST one! And those laced up heels? Ah, what kind of shoe lover could say no to these?

The fuchsia coat combined with a white top and purple heels makes us think of Carrie Bradshaw. This is just the kind of outfit she'd love to wear.

YES to muscular bodies

The muscular male bodies appearing in the show were a joy to behold.

NO to women's dresses!

What we however have to say no to is a blue button-up dress that for some unknown reason appeared on a male model. We don't want to see this next time!

Ladies, button-up dresses are all the rage. What do you think about this red piece by Balmain? We think they're worth the sin!

I looked through all the models about three times and I didn't find anything in this show I'd be so blown away by that I'd be able to say that I like this collection. Quite the opposite, to me the collection lacks an important dash of inspiration.

Boring, boring, boring!

Even though it's very colorful and sometimes pretty extravagant, I find it rather boring. Sometimes the designer wants to shock at all costs, but in this case it might be the very opposite, actually. I didn't see anything in these models that'd be characteristic of the designer as the author. The only thing that stayed in my mind was the model with a high cut from crotch to waist, and the fuzzy jacket that looks very shapeless. A man in a dress, we've seen that so many times that it's actually unoriginal in itself. And even if there might be a few pieces that I'd consider wearable, in the end it actually bores me.

Unfinished collection with no flair

It's always a matter of opinion and point of view, we are all different people and view things differently. But this collection really won't be for me, I wouldn't feel feminine in it at all even if I like loose things and I like to stay low key. Maybe if the designer hadn't been afraid to really go for even crazier extravagance, it'd have worked out much better; this collection is actually a bit unfinished, it lacks some kind of flair. I still wish him all the best and I'm looking forward to how he might pleasantly surprise me next time. You know what people say: "It's hard to please everybody."

As I said, I couldn't find the reason why this model came to be and what it's supposed to actually convey?

This model doesn't sit well with me because it doesn't express feminine beauty at all and doesn't show off

the model's undeniably small waist even a little bit. It'd need a bit more flair.

(photo 14.) Little Red Riding Hood. This dress is the only one worth anything, but at the same time there have been many

dresses like this; we'd manage to look pretty in it nonetheless though.
