For the collection for this year’s spring/summer, the fashion house, Oscar de la Renta, presented seductive and popular ‘naked dresses’, characterized typically by an airy, stylish base decorated with various lacy ornaments. These dresses are translucent, however the ingenuity of the added lace hides the most important parts. Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia have bestowed lightness and sensuality and ethereality upon them. Every bride will look like an irresistible fairy in this dress!

Those are the words I would choose to describe the SS 2019 collection by brand Oscar de la Renta. However, it can’t be described in only six words. This collection deserves many more!
If you are among brides, who just like me, dream (I dreamed – married almost four years) of a winter wedding, definitely don’t be discouraged in choosing this collection, even though it is labelled as the spring/summer section. For example, the dress that looks as if white flowers were about to float by you, which looks as if it was slowly disappearing around the shoulder area... Imagine yourself in this dress in the middle of a snowy landscape with a deep rich, red bouquet in your hand. In a word, a fairy-tale!
Among my other favourites are also dresses, which consist of a folded, simple corset and a semi-translucent skirt, again decorated with flowers. This formidable dress is a fit for any bride and it’ll be perfectly wearable in May, as it will be at a New Year’s wedding!
