I moved to Paris recently. I see Paris as a charming city full of inspiration, art, fashion, delicious cuisine and even more delicious wine! Just like every city, Paris has its pros and cons. I try to look for the pleasant and nice things in everything, so I would like to give you a glance into the life in Paris as I see it! This time, I went shopping for clothes for my 6-month-old daughter. I bring you tips for three wonderful French boutiques with child clothing, that are worth checking out!
Bonpoint is a beautiful boutique with sophisticated fashion for children from 0 to 13 years established in 1976. The founder is Marie-France Cohen, who created the Bonpoint collection for children, YAM for teenagers and Innamorato for women.
Bonpoint boutique can be found at 6 Rue de Tounon, not far away from Luxembourg gardens, also close to the beautiful Notre-Dame Cathedral.
The brand uses the best quality materials like soft cashmere and finest bio cotton. I would spend the whole afternoon in this charming boutique! And my visit was worth it. I bought quite a nice winter kit and I also couldn’t resist to the softest crib sleeping bag, that comes useful during the winter! Among the people buying clothes from this brand is also the Beckham family, Suri Cruise or Li Xiang.
Both the name and the clothes are simply delicious. The founder of this brand is Catherine Painvin, who makes clothes for children up to 12 years. In this case, my requirements were met. Quality, practicality, perfect material, French gracefulness and style!
The boutique is located at Boulevard Saint-Germain, that no longer is a cultural hotspot. At this street, you can also find the famous coffeehouse Flore. I recommend you try it!
Brand Tartine et Chocolate is worn for example by Bluebell (Geri Halliwell’s daughter), Charlene, Princess of Monaco and Victoria, Princess of Sweden.
A few steps from Tartine et Chocolate store, just when I thought I had bought everything I needed, I came across a chic store of Jacadi Paris. In the display there were some luxurious pieces that I simply couldn’t left behind.
Brand Jacadi was established in 1976 and promotes development and wellbeing of children all over the world. The proof is 270 boutiques in 39 of world’s most beautiful cities.
Jacadi clothes and shoes are inspired by French tradition but mixed with modern design and are suitable for children from 0 to 12 years. Apart from clothes, you can also buy hair clips, bibs, soft plush toys, furniture and accessories for children’s rooms.
