Gastro Hradec Králové will offer tastes of sunny Italy as well as Czech Easter
The 24th annual international show of chefs and confectioners takes place in Hradec Králové as soon as March 28. Just like last year, you can look forward to the "Taste of Czechia" contest for the best sirloin sauce. In addition, the best confectionery, Easter cake and stuffing of 2019 will be evaluated!

This year's festival will be enriched by Italian delicacies within the 4th edition of the "Taste of Italy and the Mediterranean 2019" event. You'll be able to get a taste of Italian and Mediterranean delicacies, dishes, wines, cocktails and delicious coffee. How would you like luxury pasta prepared on fire with vodka in a big wheel of grana padano cheese? Pasta al grana padano is one of the dishes that await you here. In addition, you can look forward to a bartending and coffee workshop as well as a prize competition.
Junior national team in action
At the 24th annual show of chefs and confectioners Gastro Hradec, the members of the Junior National Team of AKC CR will give a five hour demonstration of one of the Olympic disciplines, the IKA BUFET for 12 people with a presentation board. That's definiely something to look forward to!
What won't - as per tradition - be missing?
The largest gastronomic competition show in the Czech Republic with international participation is presented by the Czech Association of Chefs and Confectioners. Like every year, a competetiton will be held for the national title of Champion Chef and Confectioner. Other attractions will include luxury carving of fruits and vegetables right in front of your eyes, a display of culinary and confectionery exhibits, a showcase of gastroschools and thematic seminars.
The event is intended for all those who made cooking their living, or would like to do so in the future, as well as those who simply enjoy excellent food. It takes place on March 28 in the Aldis Congress Center in Hradec Králové.
