The Year of 2019 full of Music Superstars
This year will be very eventful as regards music stars. Our country is on the list of the best of the best, therefore this year you can enjoy a luxurious music show face to face with Elton John, Ed Sheeran or Metallica. Coming also is even Bob Dylan or Michael Bublé. This year, full of star appearances, is to be started off by the end of January by genius of film music, Ennio Morricone.
JANUARY
25. 1. / O2 arena Prague - within the framework of celebration of the 90th birthday Ennio Morricone is to perform here, with songs such as the ones from the film Once Upon a Time in the West.
FEBRUARY
17. - 19. 2. / Forum Karlin Praha - French singer ZAZ is to perform with her new chanson-jazz-swing-pop album, Effet Miroir.
MARCH
19. 3 / Forum Karlin Praha - performance by singer from the Linkin Park band, Mike Shinoda, presenting his solo album, Post Traumatic.
APRIL
7. - 9. 4. / Lucerna Praha - after a successful concert in Brno, Bob Dylan is to return this year. The holder of Nobel Prize for literature and the Pulitzer Prize for “significant contribution to popular music and American Culture” will this time round head to the capital city.
MAY
5. 5. / Forum Karlín Praha - as part of a tour, Dido is to present the new album, Still On My mind.
7. 5. / O2 arena Prague - as part of his last tour, named Farewell Yellow Brick Road, Prague is to be visited by singer Elton John.
25. 5. / O2 arena Praha - the British band, Jamiroquai, is to perform here, having been founded by singer Jay Kay as far back as in 1992.
JUNE
6. 6. / Forum Karlín Praha - the Smashing Pumpkins band is to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary since its establishment and within the Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour it will also perform in Prague. You can look forward to luxurious songs from five of their major albums.
19. 6. / Eden Arena Praha - as part of the Prague Rocks event in the open air the Kiss band is to perform as part of its tour End Of The Road as well as the ZZ Top band, which has been performing in the same set up for fifty years.
21. - 22. 6. / Výstaviště (exhibition ground) Prague Holešovice - within the framework of the Metronome festival, singer Skye and the Morcheeba group are to perform, presenting the latest album Blaze Away as well as the older hits.
22. 6. / O2 arena Praha - fans can look forward to the most successful boy bands in history - Backstreet Boys. This time they come with their new luxury album, DNA.
25. 6. / O2 arena Praha - look forward to the spectacular tour Still Not Dead Yet of Phil Collins, holder of Grammy, author of the Oscar-winning song from the Tarzan movie and a member of the Genesis band.
JULY
7. - 8. 7. / Letiště (airport) Prague Letňany - two of the most eagerly-awaited concerts this year, the first of which is that of music star Ed Sheeran, who holds in addition to four Grammys also the Order of the British Empire. He will perform within the framework of the Divide Tour.
12. 7. / Zámecká zahrada Slavkov u Brna (Slavkov u Brna château park) - you can look forward to a luxury concert called My Songs of vocalist Sting.
16.-17. 7. / Eden Arena Praha - after the last year´s sold-out concert, the Rammstein band is to come again.
17.- 20. 7. / Ostrava - within the Colours of Ostrava festival, the famous The Cure band is to perform here. Its last album came out a decade ago, yet there will be no shortage of hits.
AUGUST
18. 8. / Letiště (Airport) Prague Letňany - within the WorldWired Tour, Metallica is to perform together with the Ghost and Bokassa bands. Due to the fact that they have managed to perform during one year on all seven continents, the heavy metal music performers got to the Guinness Book of Records.
20. 8. / Amfiteátr Loket (Loket château amphitheatre) and 21. 8. / Exhibition Grounds Brno - you can look forward to the American pop punk band, The Offspring.
SEPTEMBER
8. 8. O2 arena Praha - the American singer, Ariana Grande, is to present her new album, Sweetener. During the first weekend, the album broke the record on American Spotify, where it was listened to by incredible 15 million people. She has thus become the most streamed female artist in history.
17. 9. / O2 arena Praha - Michael Bublé is to sing, who comes back on the scene with a new album, Love.
OCTOBER
1. 10. / O2 arena Praha - violinist David Garretta is to perform, not only classics, but also the repertoire of for example the Nirvana band.
22. 10 / O2 arena Praha - Singer Eros Ramazzotti is to come to present his latest album, Grande!, to Czech fans.
NOVEMBER
30. 11. / O2 arena Praha - Fans can look forward to the vocalist, Andrea Bocelli, who will in addition to the classical repertoire also sing the luxury songs from his new album, 'Sí'.
DECEMBER
6. 12. / Forum Karlín Praha -American blues-rock singer Beth Hart is to perform here; last year, the same venue was sold out within a few minutes.
