What does the next generation Jeep Wrangler 2018 have to offer?

Wrangler is definitely not going soft with the next generation!

The square bodywork remains with the next generation, although it has been given luxurious modern rear lights, the spare wheel is still located on the back door: simply put, you can see at first glance that this bad boy has not gone soft! You will find a touch screen inside, but manual controls are still dominant here. What all of the passengers will appreciate is that the interior is characterised by noticeably more space compared to the previous model.

What is however more remarkable is the luxury weight, which has been reduced by 90 kilogrammes, this being thanks to use of lighter materials such as aluminium and magnesium. This was used on the doors which are thus also easier to remove.

Luxurious and powerful vehicles with powerful engines

Under the bonnet you will find a choice of two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The V6 Pentastar 3.6 l with an output of 285 bhp will be the first to be offered in the USA. It will then be possible to choose other engines (a 2.0l turbo-charged V4 and a 3.0 l eco-diesel V6). Other news is that a hybrid should be added to line-up of existing models in 2020. Whether this will actually happen is not known for certain yet.

Together with the engine, it will be possible to choose from two different gearboxes: the six-speed manual gearbox offers fast acceleration and more precise shifting, the eight-speed automatic gearbox is designed in such a way as to optimise engine output and reduce fuel consumption on the motorway, noise, vibration and rigidity.
