August will also feature several concerts of international stars in the Czech Republic. For instance, we can look forward to the eccentric British singer Robbie Williams! Have a look at our overview of luxurious concerts which will take place in the second month of the summer holidays. So, which do you plan to visit?
The first international star to visit the Czech Republic in August is the Canadian punk band Billy Talent, consisting of: Benjamin Kowalewicz (singer, frontman, songwriter), Ian D'Sa (guitarist, singer), Jonathan Gallant (bass guitarist, singer) and Aaron Solowoniuk (drummer). On 3 August, they will perform at the Staropramen Arena in Smíchov, Prague. You can look forward to a luxurious grand ride; after all, Punk’s not dead! Tickets begin at CZK 790 and are still available, so don’t think twice and get yours before they’re gone! The price is great!
The Great Hall of Lucerna in Prague will host the concert of this indie band, consisting of: Paul Banks (singer, guitarist), Daniel Kessler (guitarist) and Sam Fogarino (drummer). This all-American band has already visited us a few times in the past; I guess they like it here. And it seems Czechs also like their music, since their performances are usually sold out. But the tickets to their latest concert are still available – starting at CZK 790. A luxurious price!
The probably most prominent event of this summer is Robbie Williams’ concert on 19 August at the Letňany airport. The pop king is an excellent showman. His concerts are planned up to the smallest detail, and we can highly recommend seeing his performance at least once – even if you’re not a die-hard fan. Robbie likes to joke around at his concerts and entertain his fans, and so aside from music the performance also has some elements of a one-man-comedy-show. Tickets start at CZK 1590.
