If you now enter the Italian boutique of the luxury brand Valextra that offers unique minimalist leather handbags, you will feel like in a cedar wood. Raw cut planks of exotic cedar wood on which hang the handbags alternate with mirror surfaces in the space of the entire boutique, creating a unique atmosphere. The author of the design is the Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma.
Valextra is an Italian fashion brand, which was founded in 1937 by the master craftsman, Giovanni Fontana. It offers high quality leather handbags which symbolise the essence of Milanese style. Their design is characteristic by the minimalist concept and simple lines. It completely fits with the old truth that less is sometimes more. They are often single-coloured or supplemented by a contrasting different tone. Frequently there is a uniquely-designed closing system.
On the natural background in the form of cedar wood they look sensational, attracting the eye of many visitors to the Salone del Mobile fair. Ours too!
