The new SS2020 collection was started off with a plethora of elegant white, that the Valentino brand later complemented with energetic neon shades, bold floral motifs, feathers or frills. And while some outfits covered the models' bodies practically from head to toe, others revealed more than a lot. Some guests must have been feeling pretty hot during this fashion show!
The luxurious SS2020 collection is filled with translucent fabrics and plunging necklines. Models had more trouble than usual to make sure that everything stayed in place. One of the most extravagant and most daring pieces was definitely worn by the young Dutch model Felice Noordhoff.
We started stealing long shirts from our partner's wardrobes the moment they became a fashion hit. We probably won't find there a similar piece with gathered sleeves, though, unless we travel back to the 18th century. But that's fine, Louis Vuitton is a safe bet!
We love neon! This pleated dress with a beautiful A-line skirt is flawless and will look divine in the summer months when combined with your tan skin.
A black mini with feather-decorated sleeves is the perfect minimalistic choice that is a delight to many an eye. Because of the bold sleeves, avoid large jewelry, though - simplicity is best!
Unless you want to deliberately fit yourself into the role of an elderly lady, make sure to avoid the floral model with granny slippers. Not even the neon purse can save this mess. Quite the opposite, it makes it even more chaotic.
The model that features the image of a corset in the chest area is just as much of a miss. Where was Pierpaolo Piccioli going with it, we don't know. We do know one thing for sure, though. It looks weird, shapeless, and can't look good on anyone!
What a beautiful collection! These are the first words that come to my mind when I see this new fashion collection by Valentino. Actually, at the start I was a little worried that everything was going to be in white - to the point where models began to blend together a little. I was worried over nothing, though, because my wait proved worth it.
Nearly florescent colors appeared then, used for example on a long "pseudo" evening gown. The new Valentino collection didn't particularly surprise me, by which I mean that it once again brought forth beautiful models, because every time I see a dress or a piece by Valentino on someone, I have to admit that I always like it, and I'd be ready to wear it myself. The collection is really ready-to-wear, which almost all of us appreciate, those that don't love crazy extravagance that is.
The only thing that I don't like are the sometimes overly large ruffles. It's too much for me, I feel like only the real "skinny girls" can wear that, those who badly need an extra pound or two. What I do like, on the other hand, is that the models are loose, comfortable and aren't completely form-fitting, so I don't have to hold my breath. Simply put, here I can just relax my stomach and it will still be fine and I'll even be seen as a lady. Well, I'm looking forward to this collection making it to us so that I can see it and touch it and I'll be happy to wear a piece from it.
At first glance, somebody might say that I would look like a plucked chick in it. But I really like it. Especially the color combination, and I can imagine wearing this dress to some formal event.
With a model that covers you pretty much from the neck down you really don't have to worry about anything. You put the dress on and go. But the color is simply gorgeous. You'll be a star in it for sure. It's beautiful, elegant and so different at the same time.
On the one hand I like the dress, on the other hand I know I just wouldn't go anywhere in it. It's too much for me. Those very ruffles that I hate so much are used in excess here and the color is too bright for me, but then again, no one would miss me in the crowd.
And there's even more ruffles on this model. I can vividly imagine this model on a type of woman that would look perfect in it, but definitely not on myself. I wouldn't feel good in it and I think it'd be rather easy to notice.
