The beautiful Canadian model, Chantalle Brown-Young known to everyone as Winnie Harlow belongs among the most popular contemporary models. Many of you now perhaps think about how this is possible taking into account the colouring of her skin, but precisely because of her atypical look designers of luxury brands have fallen in love with her.

Problems with skin eventually became her strength

At four years of age, Winnie was diagnosed with a skin disease called Vitiligo, which is a non-infectious skin disorder, during which occurs loss of melanocytes - cells forming skin pigment. However, in the end she has learnt to live with her disability, turning it into an advantage. In 2011 she even recorded a video about what it is like to live with such a disease. She is an example of the fact that when you want something, you can achieve it. The coloured symmetrical spots on the skin became so interesting for designers that they couldn´t resist the beautiful model.

She was the face of several well-known and popular luxury brands

The luxury chocolate beauty had been engaged in several interesting campaigns of various luxury fashion houses. Winnie had been the face of Desigual, Ashish, Julien Macdovald, Coach, Swarovski, Diesel and she also appeared in the video clip of Eminem and beautiful Beyoncé. To top it all she also starred in advertisement for the popular soft drink, Sprite. Newly the model was appointed as ambassadress of the Tommy Hilfiger brand. Her dream however, still is to become one of the famous angels of the luxury brand, Victoria's Secret.
