They were home to Fred Astaire, Prince of Rainier III of Monaco. with Grace Kelly, John Lennon, Katharine Hepburn, Faye Dunaway or Elizabeth Taylor, who even spent six out of her eight honeymoons here. Now Beverly Hills Hotel opens five newly refurbished bungalows to the public, including two designed by their other legendary residents - Marilyn Monroe and Howard Hughes!
The first of five unique bungalows is inspired by the icon Marilyn Monroe. The bungalow consists of a delightful bathroom with warm pink marble and a luxury double sink, deep bathtub, separate shower and CHANEL N°5 equipment.
In addition to a luxuriously furnished living room with a separate dining and elegant bedroom, you can enjoy a private terrace, a library of Marilyn movies and books, a bar with unlimited CHANEL N°5 perfume stock, and a bottle of champagne.
Bungalow number 3 belongs to the distinctive film director Howard Hughes. He was a regular guest at the hotel, and he had one special wish - every evening he wanted the staff to leave a beef sandwich under the tree next to the bungalow. Strange? Maybe that's why he was honored to have his own bungalow!
Decorated in an elegant Art Deco style, it is decorated with shiny leather, aircraft models inspired by his aviation passion, a marble bathroom in a cool emerald hue, a minimalist bedroom and, like in the case of Marilyn Monroe, a living room with an open-plan dining room.
Other accommodations in unique bungalows No. 5,8 and 22 offer old-school glamor, Golden Age of Hollywood and iconic Palm Springs.
