High heels used to be the trend and tennis shoes were more or less forgotten. But this has changed recently and every deluxe fashion house is making tennis shoes as fast as they can. Unfortunately, I have to say that these fashionable tennis shoes, which have become MUST HAVE items this year, are really not very good. How is it possible that the whole world loves them so much?
Deluxe fashion house designers have recently introduced many interesting tennis shoes onto the market. That is exactly what we could have said at the end of last year, when truly interesting and beautiful shoes appeared on the market. But now? Are fashion designers competing to see comes up with the craziest designs?
The Louis Vuitton fashion house is one of the best, it sets trends and offers deluxe goods. But this time it amazed the world with unusually shaped tennis shoes, the sole and particularly the overall effect of which is quite “unfashionable”. In spite of the fact that these are probably the ugliest tennis shoes in the world, they have become an enormous trend.
Another terrible item this year is the sports tennis shoe by the Balenciaga fashion house. These shoes may not seem as terrible on photographs as they do on the foot, but even then they are no marvel. A thick rubber sole, which makes your foot twice as large is exactly what you don’t want! Are these really fashionable and deluxe tennis shoes?
Another item by the deluxe Balenciaga brand, which have certainly not won our hearts. Again this is very athletic footwear, which no one would have worn into town in the past, so why now?
Sports shoes by the deluxe Gucci house of fashion, which boast a thick sole and a voluminous design like the previous models, are a MUST HAVE item for this year. Of course these are shoes that that it is impossible not to notice, but is this really a fashion we want to see in the streets?
If someone else came up with these designs (an ordinary unknown brand), no one would ever have noticed them. But because of the powerful influence exerted by deluxe fashion houses, the entire world has fallen for them. But does anyone actually like these “tennis shoes of the year”?
As I have mentioned repeatedly, the pressure of trends from the nineties is constantly growing stronger in the present-day fashion industry. But I still don’t understand why? For instance the wave of tennis shoes with a pointed toe, which is now being offered by GUCCI: this is exactly what I wore in pre-school in 1998!!!! They were extremely comfortable and were a dream to run in (they even had flashing lights in the soles) but I would probably say no if someone asked me if I wanted to wear them today.
Another loud “NO” is my response to the designer tennis shoes by LOUIS Vuitton. Examine these elevated, thick rubber heels in detail...hmmm...And now imagine getting into the car and driving off! Yes I know that some women are capable of driving in spiked heels, but if I am driving in flat shoes, then I want to feel comfortable and not strain my ankles!
But the biggest horror of all horrors is the item by Balenciaga. My previous opinion of the repulsive senior tennis shoes by the Botas Company is nothing compared this. The Model Super S by Balenciaga can only be worn by someone completely crazy or some poor soul who has a height complex. Just don’t buy it!
