Lukáš Krnáč is a young Slovak designer who doesn’t shy away from colors and a wide range of materials. That he’s not afraid to experiment has been confirmed once again MBPFW, where he introduced the latest FW19 collection. Come and take a closer look at the work of this animation graduate and student at the Studio of Fashion Design at the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín, who stood first in line when God was giving out talent!
As had been the case in the previous show of Lukáš Krnáč, the extravagant rapper Sharlota made an appearance on the catwalk again. She walked with confidence - a positive trait she’s known for, after all. Could Sharlota become the provocative designer’s new muse? She would fit perfectly into the concept of his work.
Lukáše Krnáč’s new collection has something for everyone, regardless if you are male of female, even though younger men will have the largest choice. That’s the main target group for the designer’s bold models. Which elements is the luxurious FW19 dominated by? The main features are plaid patterns and a holographic silver that can be found simply everywhere.
On dresses, shorts, coats, scarves, jackets, bras, skirts… Apply trendy elements of the coming autumn to your outfits in any shape or form. If you add a farm animal detail, it’s a double win! The designer decided to make use of the cuteness of pigs or goats and applied their pictures to a vast part of his luxurious autumn collection in a way that’s sure to make you smile.
Lukáš Krnáč’s work emenates drive and the desire to break free from the world of dull and classic models. But if we are to find our FW19 TOP favourite, we will have to lightly tap into the classic. The luxurious blue dress made of sheeny silk decorated with delicate flowers is a minimalist thing for someone like Lukáš Krnáč, but an absolutely brilliant achievement in our eyes!
He is one of the few designers with individuality, who aren’t afraid to swim against the stream. Multicolored wigs and striped faces? If you can work with them tastefully, the result can be a chic punk elegance!
My absolute favorite is a silk dress that seems to be made of silky milk glass. An ethereal look spiced up with a revolt in red, crowned by mini-pigs on a bag around the waist. And the result? I just can't stop looking at it!
Another thing I really like is blue-white dress decorated with simple geometric plaid. Match it with a basic red scarf and you’ve conjured up a sweet retro look that works even today. The only thing I’d ditch are the slippers with socks…
