Did you think that last year was extremely tough and things couldn't really get much worse? The coronavirus pandemic has rattled the world, and we've all been looking forward to 2021 with great anticipation. The prophet Nostradamus and the oracle Baba Vanga, however, had a different idea about this year. According to them, we can expect all kinds of disasters, including the living dead.
It has been more than 450 years since the French prophet and philosopher Michel de Nostradame, called Nostradamus, foretold a large number of significant human milestones in his book Les Propheties. It is both astonishing and shocking that many of his dark prophecies have really come true. Remember his frighteningly accurate prediction of the French Revolution, the Great Fire of London, the rise of Hitler, and World War II. He is said to have predicted even the assassination of John F. Kennedy as well as, for instance, the 9/11 terrorist attack in New York.
The coronavirus pandemic has ruined the fates of many people around the world, and if you thought Nostradamus' prophecies for this year might be more optimistic, you're in for an unpleasant surprise. And since we've mentioned last year, the French philosopher reportedly even foretold a worldwide pandemic in his book. And he didn't forget to share prophecies for the current year 2021 either.
People studying Nostradamus' prophecies believe that this year won't be any more favourable than the last because the Earth will be plagued by the growing pandemics as well as other catastrophes, including the "living dead," which many interpret as the arrival of zombies. In his prophecy for 2021, the seer also speaks of rain, blood, milk, hunger, iron, plague, and last but not least, fire from the skies.
"After great trouble for humanity, a greater one is prepared. The Great Mover renews the ages: rain, blood, milk, famine, steel and plague. Is the heavens fire seen, a long spark running,"
Let's move from one prophet to another, namely to the Bulgarian mystic called Baba Vanga, who also prepared a prophecy for the whole world. If Nostradamus's prophecy left you unmoved and you don't have a chill running down your spine yet, that might change now.
Conspiracy theorists and a number of other people nicknamed Baba Vanga "Nostradamus in the Balkans". Similarly to the philosopher, this oracle prophesies that this year the whole world will suffer from various catastrophes.
"People's consciousness will change. Hard times will come. People will be divided by their faith. We will witness devastating events that will change the fate of mankind,"
In addition to the frightening predictions mentioned, she also said that humanity would reunite with its spiritual siblings from other worlds over the next 200 years and that it would suddenly be clear how life on Earth first appeared. Let's wait and see!
Ultra-Orthodox Rabbi Yosef Berger, the man overseeing the Tomb of the Biblical King David on Mount Zion, previously said that 2022 could be the year of the arrival of the new Messiah. He came to the conclusion on the basis of binary stars KIC 9832227, which, according to astronomer Larry Molnar, should collide and then explode.
"The book of the Zohar literally states that the coming of the Messiah will be accompanied by a heavenly spectacle. Zohar describes in great detail how many stars it should be and what colour they should shine in," says the rabbi.
Recent information, however, suggests that the two stars are unlikely to collide and cause a celestial light spectacle, so we will have to wait for the Savior's coming a little bit longer.
Prophecies and prophets usually stand in contrast to science and scientific exact views. In this case, however, science is on a similar wave - it sees our future in black, too. Not only the distant future, by the way, but also the present in which we live, senselessly destroying our planet.
As part of the predictions, it would be almost a sin not to mention the world-renowned naturalist David Attenborough. Last year, he released his new documentary, David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet. The film is a kind of testimony of his, in which he makes very disturbing predictions. According to the naturalist, if humanity does not change its actions, it is likely that terrible events will occur in the near future - various species of animals will become extinct, the environment will change, and ultimately, so will human behaviour.
One thing is for sure: this year, we can expect both big and small things to happen in our lives, bringing sorrow as well as joy. Some of us will change our jobs, others will find love, start a family, and with the retreat of the coronavirus, all avid travellers will start fulfilling their dreams again. We firmly believe that neither the mysterious prophecy of the Bulgarian mystic nor the terrifying prediction of the French philosopher Nostradamus will prevent us from living our lives the way we wish and that we will start walking the path towards our goals. We will have to wait until the end of this year to see whether these prophecies came true.
