It will happen almost three years after the car manufacturer announced the production of the electric concept. A few days ago it finally disclosed information about this luxury car and at the same time unveiled its "electric" plans for the future!
Porsche Taycan will be powered by two synchronous electric motors with a total output of up to 440 kW. From 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The maximum range of the car will be over 500 km and an 800-volt electric system will be charged in a fast-charging station network. In 4 minutes the car is charged for another 100 km of driving!
The car manufacturer plans to produce 20,000 pieces of this excellent car annually, and in case of high demand there is the capacity to produce more pieces. And other Porsche electric cars will follow. It will most likely be the Taycan based on the Mission E Cross Turismo concept, which was unveiled this year at the Geneva Motor Show. The following will probably be the next-generation electrical version of the Macan.
The car manufacturer's goal is to make every second Porsche car electric by 2025, half of which should be purely electric and the other half should be hybrids.
