Just the other day I was walking along Pařížská street in Prague, enjoying its atmosphere by the pinkish sunset. This shopping boulevard is the most luxurious location in Prague! The real estate prices are sky high, celebrities are frequent flyers here and people are dazzled by its beauty. But have you heard about the Pařížská street in Paris?
As a general rule, when you're in Paris, immerse yourself in it, take a side street and that's when you'll discover the true Paris. Most people only get to go to Champs-Élysées, but its surrounding area offers much more. This shopping mecca known as the Golden Triangle (Triangle D'OR) lies between Avenue Montaigne, Avenue George V. and Rue Francois 1er in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, when you head away from the Eiffel tower across river Seine.
The Champs-Élysées boulevard is grand in size, among other things. It's 1.9 km long and 70 m wide, leading from Place de la Concorde to Place Charles de Gaulle and thanks to its glory and grace it is the most famous street in the world.
Did you know that if you stand at Arc de Triomphe and look downwards, you'll see the most luxurious boutiques on the right, such as Louis Vuitton, Rolex, perfect restaurants and even the luxurious Ladurée bakery? On your left side you'll find more affordable brands like Zara, Adidas, or you can enjoy coffee at the famous Paul bakery.

If you wish to live at this shopping hub, I'll have to disappoint you, it's almost impossible to buy any property on Champs-Élysées, most of the buildings are owned by the state.
The newbie on Champs-Élysées is an Apple Store, situated opposite from the Louis Vuitton boutique. Citadium is yet another newly opened store, offering an assortment of various sports brands such as Puma, Fred Perry and Nike.

Avenue Montaigne is the beginning of the Golden Triangle. It caters to the most refined of tastes!
Avenue Montaigne is dazzling, intimate, and one of the most extraordinary streets in the capital. If George Clooney were to set out to buy a new suit, it would most likely be here. Brands like Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chloé, Céline, Saint Laurent Paris, Prada, Gucci have made their home here. If you were looking for the Dior boutique with the most luxurious Christmas decorations that have flooded Instagram, you will find it here!

Do you know the difference between the Louis Vuitton boutique in Montaigne street and the one in Avenue Champs-Élysées? The Avenue Montaigne one is smaller and you don't have to wait in line to get inside. Louis Vuitton on Champs-Élysées is also a fashion museum, and you will be subject to a security check upon entry.
You'll also find the well-known luxurious Plaza Athénée hotel here, introduced in the final season of the popular series Sex and the City.
The triangle continues on the Rue Francois 1er street, where you can enjoy shopping in boutiques like Rochas, COURREGES, Balmain or Dolce & Gabbana. You may also find the unique luxurious fashion boutique for little princes and princesses Bleu come gris here. The architecture of the Hausmann buildings is breathtaking. If the shopping craze leaves you hungry, you can enjoy lunch at one of the most popular "celebrity" restaurants, L'Avenue, at the end of the Francois 1er street, and maybe you'll meet Kylie Jenner.
Avenue George V., where the Four Seasons hotel is located, closes the Golden Triangle. This street begins at Pont de l'Alma and leads all the way to Avenue des Champs-Élysées, at the corner of which we can find the most popular Louis Vuitton boutique and Fouquet's restaurant, which is the symbol of French prosperity. On this street you may also find boutiques like Kenzo, Hermes, Elie Saab, Balenciaga, The Kooples, Emporio Armani and BVLGARI.

For me, Pařížská street in Prague still has more charm, perhaps specifically because of those pinkish sunsets that you cannot see anywhere else.
