Open House Prague: DOCK IN TWO as a modern pride of Libeň
The new development project of the company Crestyl, "DOCK IN TWO", can be found at the blind arm of the Vltava River in Libeň, near Palmovka, on the site of former docks. If you haven't been in this area for a long time, you won't be able to recognize it here. And if you come back in a few years, you’ll notice even more striking changes.
A couple of luxury buildings have grown here and more are being built!
In addition to DOCK IN ONE and TWO, DOCK IN THREE, DOCK IN FOUR and DOCK IN FIVE should be completed by the end of 2023.
You can see the modern DOCK IN TWO building and the offices of the company Saint-Gobain, whose seat is located here, within the Open House Prague festival (18.-19.5.). We've already been there, so we can assure you it's totally worth it!
In 2017, the Saint-Gobain Group won the Office of the Year competition in the "Environment friendly" category recognizing sustainability and environmental impact in the construction and operation of offices in the DOCK IN TWO building.
In addition to recycling, they use rainwater for flushing the toilet and irrigating the luxurious terrace, which can be accessed from the office, as well as the area in front of the house. If there is no rainwater, they use well water, which runs through filters and pumps.
Offices and corridors with the sound bubble effect
There is a strange, pleasant kind of silence here. Ecophon acoustic hanging and wall panels can be found everywhere, often in the form of modern paintings, complemented with plasterboard acoustic ceilings performing a similar function. They absorb sounds while allowing everyone to hear the speaker at the far wall perfectly, even in a more spacious meeting room.
The DOCK IN project helps create a community between tenants and local residents.
Events are organized to promote local community life, one can enjoy various kinds of sports such as fitness, wellness or a running track in the making, and it is possible to rent a motor boat or a pedal boat. There is also a café, and a new luxury restaurant will open soon.
