Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2018: Adriana Lima says farewell to the angels!
Which of the angels wore the iconic Fantasy Bra and who appeared on the runway wearing Swarovski crystals from head to toe? This year’s deluxe Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show followed in the footsteps of Alessandra Ambrosio last year and was in the spirit of female beauty and moving farewells once again. Adriana Lima followed model Alessandra Ambrosio, who said farewell to the angels last year, with the charismatic Brazilian top-model also going into angelic retirement!

Elsa Hosk wore the Fantasy Bra, which was worth 1 million dollars!
The amazing Dream Angels Fantasy Bra, worth approximately 1 million dollars and embellished with deluxe crystals and topazes, was worn by Elsa Hosk this year. Romee Strijd also appeared on the runway decorated with Swarovski crystals - from head to toe!
Who shone on the runway this year?
Stars like Candice Swanepoel, Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Barbara Palvin, Winnie Harlow, Romee Strijd, Josephine Skriver, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk and Sara Sampaio all appeared on the runway in pulsating New York.
Deluxe collaboration with Mary Katrantza
The Victoria's Secret brand presented a collection of amazing models, which it divided into 6 blocks: Flights of Fantasy, Downtown Angels, Glam Royal, Golden Girls, Celestial Angels and VS x Mary Katrantzou. And it was the design of the last collection, full of captivating models and colours and presented by Gigi Hadid or Winnie Harlow, that we found absolutely amazing!
Metallic models also rule in Victoria's Secret
As the names of the other collections indicated, we were able to see metallic shades of silver and gold as well as subtle and romantic tones, sensual corsets and applications – the essential feathers - on the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018.
Beba Rexha, Rita Ora... Who else?
The most famous pop stars also appeared at the deluxe show, just like every year. Visitors could see singers Rita Ora, Beba Rexha, Halsey, singer Shawn Mendes or The Chainsmokers on the podium.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018 is like a hurricane of emotions!
Every year I can’t wait to see this show! I experience a flood of nervousness, enthusiasm and amazement!! Although the show will be broadcast on 2 December, we get to see the sexy, kissable angels today!
This year I most enjoyed the Scottish costume worn by model Josephine Skriver. The sharp wings and long sleeves in combination with the totally sexy chequered over-the-knee socks, that’s what I call sex-appeal!!! And over-the-knee socks are a real hit this winter, so you’d better get some quick!
Of course I have to mention the iconic Fantasy Bra. This was worn by the beautiful Elsa Hosk this year and I have to say that she was one of the prettiest models to have worn it. What is more the overall design was also excellent. 2,100 crystals by Swarovski, topaz silver, over 71 karats. And of course the unbelievable number of man-hours need to make it, 930 hours in total. Wow!!!
And finally I have to mention Adrian Lima’s grand farewell and “retirement”. She is one of the few women who have managed to remain a Victoria’s Secret star for nearly 20 years. At 37 years old she is certainly not some “granny” and she also doesn’t have to worry about finding work. She is basically a wild Brazilian spitfire and this type of woman has no problem finding her way in the world. So, dear ladies, you should also be a little more passionate, shout more, be noisier in general and extremely loving and sexy. Just like Adriana. And then the world will be at your feet.
