A thundering applause for jugglers, acrobats, dancers! (Summer Letná 15.8.-2.9.)
The first Summer Letná festival took place in 2004 and was attended by 6,300 spectators. Last year it was more than 45,000 visitors! From a relatively small event, it has become a respected, popular and always-anticipated entertainment and cultural festival. Will you be joining the ranks of enthusiastic spectators this year, too?
The end of summer in Letná!
Letenské orchard will become a lively place where every year, this time from August 15 to September 2, people will head for luxury entertainment, culture and unusual experiences. Several stages will be located outside, where the opening of the festival will also take place. It will be a performance called De Nova Stella (a new star) inspired by Tycho de Brahe and is a tribute to all visionaries. The amazing performance will be held outdoors and will be about love and relationships between people. The author is a Canadian director and performer living in France, Daniel Gulko.

Poetics and dancing with animals
The Baro d'Evel Cirk Cie offers an amazing spectacle as part of the Bestias show. Music and dance accompanied by horses and birds which become a natural part of the whole choreography, takes you into a dream world. The unconventional experience is one of the highlights of this year's festival.
An extreme with an excavator
Three acrobats from the French ensemble Cirque Inextremiste will perform incredible breathtaking art. Bold acrobatic moves in which artists go beyond the limits of everyday possibilities. Unbelievable precision, strength, flights through the air...that is Extension, you will not see a more extreme performance!
Jugglers and life in the fridge
Jugglers are an inherent part of a circus, and will showcase their art this year in the luxurious Juggler Galashow. Czech and foreign jugglers will perform in Letenský park on 26.8.
The last thing we recommend is a playful and smile-provoking show by Tomato and Cucumber with their performance In the Fridge. Do not miss the fun that takes place in the fridge. There is a life there that probably none of us know about!
